The restaurant was very busy so we sat a very long time waiting to order. Also took a long time to get food. Eventually, it all came together and the service improved, the food was excellent! One of our favorite places....
A restaurant that specializes in pork and bacon. Amazing!!! The chef had come up with some great flavor combinations that are very satisfying.
Visited with friends and received wonderful service from Dianna. Beers were good, appetizers were amazing, and the food was unique and tasty.
Pork, bacon, yummmmmmm! Berkshire was a great spot. We will be back.
Food was good, the service was better and the drinks are solid
Awsome experience all around. Food, service and ambiance were excellent.
I love The Berrkshire! Every time I come here it is consistently good, the service is top notch, and the place is inviting. I have been here for brunch and dinner and I tell everyone about it. I do not enjoy going downtown and it is so nice to be able to find great food right in my neighborhood.
Food was great! Services was even better!! Will definately be back
Had the restaurant week menu, including the Bacon Wrapped Bacon for the appetizer, the Pork Belly Carbonara for main, and the caramel pot de creme for dessert. All were delicious, I mean really good, especially the Bacon Wrapped Bacon (Bacon wrapped pork belly) and the home made pasta noodles and crispy pork in the carbonara. We also added the CHICHARRONES to the appetizers, Cajun seasoned. These came out still crackling and were also delicious. Portions were small, not sure if this was just for restaurant week or just their normal portion size. But I knew I would be eating something later. The price point was reasonable. The service was a bit lacking, waited over 30 mins for food after order, and server was not attentive to refills or follow up inquiries for drinks. When we finally did flag her down, we had to call her back twice for follow up as she was trying to run away as soon as we asked our first question. But definitely worth the visit. My wife had the blackened salmon salad and enjoyed her dish as well.
Great brunch!!! Pulled pork Benedict? Flight of bacon?!? Bottomless mimosas?!? Yes please! And the bloody was massive and came with a beer chaser ha!
What a find. Bacon wrapped bacon was a hit. Pork belly carbonara was divine. The caramel pot de créeme was smooth and set off nicely with sprinkles of chocolate and salted pretzels. I wish it wasn’t so far for us or we would be regulars.
Good food...but one of my roulades was very undercooked :( They gave us each a free drink coupon as an apology. Very nice staff!
We went for Restaurant Week. The quality and taste of the food was AH-MAZING!! Truly inspired and great for us pork-lovers. The restaurant week menu was $25 pp for a 3 course meal. Each of us got an appetizer and entree with a shared dessert. I had the "bacon wrapped bacon" app and the stuffed pork tenderloin and we shared the caramel pot de creme. The only drawback to the meal was portion size. Two small pork belly nuggets for the app, the entree of stuffed pork tenderloin had three pork medallions - maybe 6 oz in total. I know that "should" be appropriate portion size, however the hubby and I are big eaters. Taste was impeccable!
We were looking for a restaurant that took reservations for Sunday brunch and found The Berkshire. They were great, very accommodating with our last minute time change and made it easy with our 7 month old baby. Everyone really enjoyed their food and the drinks were great. We'll definitely be going back for brunch and to check out their dinner menu!
We went on a double date for restaurant week and very much enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious, but the portions were not consistent. The waitress was amazing, attentive, had great recommendations, full of energy and fun to interact with. The environment was full of energy, but got a little loud by the end of the evening. Overall, we will definitely be back to this place for dinner, cocktails and tasty bacon themed foods.
Valentine’s Day celebration
Service and food are always spot on. It’s a great place that’s close to home and not pretentious.
Good food and great service.
We went for Valentines Day with a group of friends. This was our first time sat Berkshire and I was intrigued by their menu.
It may have been because of the holiday, but we waited nearly an hour for our food.
I had the pork tenderloin and it was good. The meat wasn’t overdone and the flavour was good. My partner enjoyed the beet salad very much.
Our server was excellent and made sure drinks were always filled.
Tasty food, great bacon and tasty light pancakes. Unlimited Mimosas for $13. I will definitely go back for the stuffed wrapped jalapenos...so delicious. They were out of the avocado toast, no ripe avocado's on hand, so I will go back to try later.
This was my second time dining here and it was delightful. I had the pork tenderloin with pumpkin risotto and it was delicious. The portion was generous and I have a leftover for lunch!
Berkshire is a really nice restaurant for brunch. Has a very creative menu and all the things we ordered. It is noisy but not unbearable. Great location. Free parking. The whole complaint I had was OJ was not fresh squeezed, although priced that way. The green chili was a little too spicy. That should be noted on menu.
Great time with my friends. Good food!
The food was great! Service was excellent
Food was very good; Cobb salad had a good quantity of various things, jalapeno poppers were delicious, and sliders (pork, beef) were delicious on fresh rolls and nicely priced. We appreciate that waitress turned down the music so we could hear each other better and have a conversation. Very enjoyable and not crowded for a 1 p.m. lunch. I do recommend this place!
We were a group of five, ordered a couple of appetizers and dinner. Only two in group ordered drinks. When the dinner came four were served and I was left without dinner. Usually when this happens the dinner arrives a minute late, but at The Berkshire I had to finally go up and ask about my meal. The restaurant was not busy, so I question both the kitchen and the server handling the table. It was awful. I was told it would be right out, and it came out after other guests were done eating. It was not cooked through and I had to send it back and instead ordered another app just to get something and not hold up the entire party longer. They were nice but not at all what I'd considered standard good service. Not attentive, not even seeming to know what was going on. The other food was so-so. Nothing great, not bad.
Probably the best BLT I’ve ever had.
Unique menu with great atmosphere on NYE! Easy, hassle free parking with loads of charm. Will return when in the area.
Trendy bacon based restaurant, we love the bacon flights practically everything on the app menu. The mains were a bit lack luster and bland.
Everyone in our group was able to find something on the menu. Some people wanted a small bite, others seemed to be famished......Everyone left happy with a positive remark about Berkshire. Our server was great- attentive, but not overbearing; helpful, but not pushy and very laid back, allowing us to enjoy our guests. Due to the holiday, the vibe was even more special with the soft glow of the blue lights and animated ice-sickle type lights coming in through the windows. We would all recommend Berkshire!
Pretty good place until you look around at the other choices, then it's the best place within a mile. Great service. Food was too saucy on the appetizer I ordered and the daily special consisted of a fried chicken burger which came with a green salad and dressing. I would order differently next time.
If you like pork it’s the place. Nice bar menu and food menu was very diverse. Pig wings are a must and the Cobb salad was huge—something for everyone.
The atmosphere is comfortable and the food is great. Kind of a gourmet spin on classic pub fair. The service was decent. My wife and I made reservations and had a pretty much a hassle free experience which is a big plus at the end of the week for any hard working couple. A nice chill date night with excellent food. I recommend the bacon four ways.
TVs in dining room takes away from the ambiance..Would love if they were off during dinner.
Great service! Managed the kids meals well as their food came out first! Thanks for another great experience!
My second time going and the food was not what I remembered. All of our meals were bland and boring. Our waitress was nice but the host kept coming around our table and complaining about having to work. The music was way too loud. It was hard to hear. Overall disappointed
The Berkshire is a pig lovers dream!
Bacon, pork chops, pulled pork, just about anything you could ask for! The beet salad was great as well as the English pea risotto.
One of their appetizers was bacon wrapped bacon-- how can you go wrong with that?
Cracking meal great staff and music plus the game was on result
We found this place on a visit to Denver from Virginia. We were very pleased with all aspects of our visits. The waitstaff were outstanding, the ambiance exceptional and the quality and variety of the meals wonderful. If it weren’t so far away we’d be back in a heartbeat. If you live nearby, don’t miss this place.
If you love bacon, this is the place for you! Just about every dish on the menu has some form of bacon. The portions are generous and the service attentive. The Bacon Flight is a must-try for an appetizer!
