Positioned in the heart of Old Town Toronto at Church and Front Streets, The Berczy is set to redefine the casual fine dining experience, blending contemporary Canadian/American cuisine with Mediterranean influences. With plans for a comprehensive cocktail program, extensive wine list, and a vibrant piano bar, The Berczy is poised for a grand opening in summer 2024 and aims to become a cornerstone in Toronto's dining scene.

    The food was amazing, especially the desert! I would recommend this place to anyone honestly. The service was a bit slow and not overly organized unfortunately but the server was very nice. Multiple times my friend had said oh don’t worry it’s dinner service I’m sure you’re very busy, only for her to say oh actually it’s not that busy at all. But over all I would still go back and it was a great please to celebrate a special occasion

    Very expensive. Service very good. We were in the dining room but the piano singer was sometimes so loud we couldn’t talk. A little less mic on the singer?? Food good but I hate being charged extra for a side dish.

    My partner & I each had the “Sunday Roast” special. The meal consisted of AAA Ontario local beef, in-house made Montreal seasoning, cooked via slow roasted 4-6 hours, Ontario heirloom parsnips, Ontario heirloom carrots, Ontario cauliflower, in house made jus & horseradish, along with in-house made Yorkies. We paired it with a steeply discounted 2016 Gran Reserva from Rioja Spain. Par Excellence 10/10.

    An exceptional dinner. Great wine recommendations by the sommelier and dining recommendations by the server. Service was 10 plus. We were in the dining room, but could hear the piano and the ambience was terrific. Highlights were the Prime Rib Croquettes and the Lamb chops.  Will definitely return.

    What an amazing place! The bartender was crafty with her bartending skills The singer, amazing for the night, It takes a lot of effort to be a singer The lady at the door was very sweet I felt grounded and happy Thank you

    We popped in for their Burger & Beer Special, only on certain days and times, but what a terrific experience. A very elegant take on a classic and certainly one of the better burgers our city has to offer. Upcoming new cult classic? We will return without question.

    The Berczy is our favorite local restaurant. Tonight, as always, the food, service and ambiance were excellent. Our server was attentive and engaged and, seeing our Jays shirts, made sure to check our timing for the game.

    The restaurant team was very accommodating to change our original table assignment close to the piano area to the back side where is less noise. The food quality was good for the value we paid for. The service team was good as well. They were attentive and helpful.
