The Easter brunch was not worth the cost that they charged. They also did not notify us that there was a price increase for the brunch and did not see any info about it on their website or Facebook.
Our waiter Corey was amazing!!! Food was excellent!!!
The food and the service have always been excellent! The noise level can be a bit on the loud side but overall a wonderful restaurant with fantastic French cuisine!!!
Omelette was more like powdered eggs
Didn’t have vegetables in it that I asked for
What a lovely time the 5 of us had at my favorite restaurant! The new twist to the goat cheese appetizer is delicious! Very fresh tasting with the blueberries which are perfect with the dish. Eggs Benedict was a big hit. The star of the meal goes to the HUGE shrimp cocktail. Must have! And leave room for dessert!!! Love everyone there. Thanks again Jen and Jonathan!
Wonderful anniversary dinner here!
The early reviews had us curious. We looked forward to trying it. On balance it was OK to good, but not outstanding. My wife really liked her gnocchi appetizer and we both thought my roast chicken entrée was quite good. The onion soup was a bit different from most. On the plus side chock full of onions and not salty, the downfall of many onion soups, but also didn't taste quite like most onion soups either. My wife's scallops were a disappointment. They were not bad, but the portion was a bit small, and she came across some grit, a definite no-no!
Desserts were OK. My wife was not a big fan of her lemon meringue. I was OK with what was called "pot de crème", but it was actually a scoop of mildly flavored coffee ice cream alongside some whipped cream on top a very thick layer of very rich dark chocolate, certainly not a traditional pot de crème.
Managers occasionally cruised by inquiring as to our satisfaction, but didn't linger long enough to actually engage. Their inquiries seemed quite "pro-forma" and the restaurant wasn't especially busy. We might not have provided much in the way of meaningful feedback, but really didn't even have the chance.
It's ok as long as your expectations are reasonable.
We love The Bercy! Such delicious food!!
The best kept secret of Ardmore. Can’t wait to go back!!!!!
This week could not have been more spectacular. There were 4 of us who wined and dined and loved every mouthful. However it was dessert this week that gets the 5 stars. Pot de creme and profiteroles. Must get, leave room for dessert!!!!
Great service and the food was good. We would definitely come back.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend The Bercy for lunch or dinner.
Far too warm inside, horrific background music, meager raw bar.
Music nice for Sunday brunch but too loud. But $35 buffet? No rolls, croissants. One bagel. Six lonely shrimp left out, one oyster, no plates at all. No one paying attention to the buffet table. Omelet guy cooking an omelet and doesn't realize he has no flame. No bread at the table. Not cool. Nobody home. Trout was good though.
Much better than first experience. First time they seated us 40 minutes late, service was very slow (I asked for pitcher of water because glasses were empty), but food was great. This visit was much better! Table was ready, service was on point, and food was excellent. Only complaint was the front room on second floor was VERY loud! Uncomfortably so. Need some sound deadening.
Waited 15 minutes to get a tasting of a beer, waited 15 minutes more to order, then 5-10 minutes to get it: when it came it went down fast! I ate the $32 scallops: very average. Disappointing
Another fabulous night at The Bercy. Delicious dinner. Amazing drinks (try the Plastic Heart). Shout out to the ever gracious Jenifer and waiter of the year, Corey. Salmon appetizer was a perfect start to a wonderful dinner of beef, mussels and the best frites! Ended with apple tart with amazing ice cream. Go.
The food was very good. The service was pretty slow and our server seemed over stressed. It was also incredibly loud and difficult to carry on a conversation.
Service was slow. Burger was under cooked 2 times. Food came out at all different times
Conducted dinner meeting that was successful and very well received
Food was incredible! Staff was very knowledgeable and on point. Loved the Ambiance.
Great food, slooowwww service. Pleasant and smiling, but never returning. Would have got desser but figured it would take another 45 minutes...
Outstanding food quality, service tasty. Salmon for entrée; delicious. Wife said her entrée was awesome.
Good peeps, staff, bartenders, managers, etc.
Thx for a great evening. We'll pass the word.
Great drinks, food and service. We went for dinner and stayed for hours.
We had a terrific dinner with great good, ambiance, and wine.
Nice place. Food is good, but not outstanding and was a bit disappointing for the price. Ambience is good.
After enjoying for years the Italian restaurant that the Bercy replaced in the same wonderful location, I was disappointed by this brasserie not so much because of its food but because of its prices. At a lower price, more comparable to that of its predecessor, I would gladly go here again, but its current prices - both for wine and for food - are not reflective of quality. That makes it seem a bit pretentious, as if the designation as a French “brasserie” were itself sufficient to justify its prices. Having spent many an evening at brasseries in Paris, I thought this one fell far short of the mark even on that score, in its food and drinks as well as its atmosphere. For this, I would not pay again what they are asking.
A bit of a Disney World approach to bistro cooking. I just returned from a trip to FRance and reality was still in my mind. Wine choices very disappointing. Pleasant atmosphere, the restaurant would do better with a different style of cooking.
Brunch at Bercy never disappoints. It is my go to place for celebrations with friends.
A beautifully appointed space, delicious brunch buffet, refreshing Mimosa, what more could one ask for on a Sunday? Highly recommend...
Food and vibe is great. The glasses of wine a bit pricey ie $14 per glass 2 people almost & $30. Adjust to $10 or $11 would be best.
As usual, Krista Bell was lovely. She is very warm, welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the food and menu.
Unfortunately, the Kitchen seemed to have several issues.
During this visit, we did disclose an allergy. An alteration was made to our appetizer, which arrived after the entrees.
A member of our party, did end up suffering an allergic reaction. We shared this info with Bercy. The manager circled back with our table and instead of apologizing or showing any concern of remorse while this person was clearly missing from the table, took zero responsibility and basically denied that the food could have caused the reaction. While our friend is ok, I have major concerns for other who may potentially suffer much more serious and life threatening reactions while dining at Bercy. Disappointed in managements handling of this matter.
Back again and dinner was delicious! Escargot so yummy. Veal Milanese is insanely good and a huge portion. Artichokes on point with a yummy dipping sauce. The bar scene is happening and a much needed addition to the Main Line. Highly recommend!
The food was excellent and the service was impeccable! I would definitely dine here again!
My husband and I went to the Bercy for a birthday dinner and had a wonderful time. We loved our food and we were well taken care of by our server. We would highly recommend this restaurant and hope to be back soon. Thanks for a lovely evening.
Jenifer the GM is exceptional. Service upstairs awesone. Foie Gras, Chicken Liver, bread, and chicken outstanding. Would absolutely return. Ambiance very romantic upatairs. Reminds you of a french bistro
They were out of the special that we ordered but didn’t tell us until our meals were served then everyone got their dinner except one person who ordered it.
Also, the food was just average. I expected better. Not very flavorful
Thank you for writing this, and I am terribly sorry that we missed the opportunity to communicate properly and that your meal did not meet your standards. We only make a limited number of specials per day and I again apologize we sold out in time for your dinner. We pride ourselves on a fluid and enjoyable experience start to finish and we obviously missed the mark here. Please reply in private so that I may introduce yourself during your next visit and apologize in person. -JV
I did not feel the quality of the food or the menu choices were on point for a "French Brasserie." I had butternut squash gnocchi and the texture of the gnocchi was great, there was little flavor of squash. And the cheese on top was excessive. A sprinkle would have been adequate, not the thick layer that overpowered it all. The apple frangipane tart was missing the apples - the crust was tasty. Service was very good but it was early on a Sunday evening so the restaurant was not very busy. Not worth the money.
Thank you Therese for finding the silver lining and complimenting service, I will be happy to pass those details along. Thank you also for your candid feedback about our menu offerings and execution. This is phenomenal, specific details I can take back to my team to improve. We are constantly listening to feedback and changing our menu based on availability, seasonality and the wants and needs of our community. Thank you.
Brunch was a ripoff. There was no selection. What was out was picked over and not replenished.
Thank you for providing this feedback, we offer a grand buffet on Sundays 10a-3p, we have a full team responsible for maintaining and replenishing over 100 unique items, sauces, bowls and dishes. There is no excuse why the buffet did not look perfect unless it is currently being restocked and refreshed. We will continue to monitor this closely and ensure our grand buffet is just this, grand and perfect every minute we are open. Thank you - JV
The Bercy is not only a restaurant with amazing food, but gives you a complete dining experience. My husband and I are there every week and look forward to being greeted by Jenifer who always has a smile and welcomes us with open arms. The staff is super friendly and the food is top notch. The bartenders are so personable and know how to make a great drink. Do yourself a favor and go. You won’t be disappointed!
