Good food and good service! Waiters very friendly and attentive.
The service was exceptional on every level! Most of the food was excellent. Our steak frites were served well done despite a medium rare order, but the flavor was still excellent and when we brought it to the attention of our waitress, it was rectified immediately with the enormous courtesy and grace. Beef Bourgignon, oysters, octopus and burgers were the winners on our visit -- really delicious.
The beef borginoine (forgive sp) had very little beef. Chicken was tasty. Overall good, great waiter. Nothing special
My friends and I were treated to a delicious meal, the food was incredible! Our server made great recommendations, and the cocktails were delicious. Try the Plastic Heart!! This is our new spot!
Great dinner. Service was excellent would definitely recommend and will continue to go to this fantastic restaurant
Being my first visit to The Bercy and having heard / read multiple good reviews, I was hoping for the same. It was good but far from great. The service was incredible slow. Watching three tables seated after us being served only added to that frustration. The food was good but again I was hoping for much better, especially since it was Mother's Day.
I will be back at some point however I not rushing back any time soon.
My service complaints are related to our wait staff who would take a knife after appetizers and not replace it so we had to ask when entrees arrived. Ditto when they brought tea in a mug with no spoon or saucer. Just weird. Also despite ramp up to restaurant it is not that elderly/walker friendly. And too noisy for elderly.
The experience from start to finish was absolutely lovely. Everything from the linens to the food was truly wonderful in so many ways!
Foods are amazing and service is top notch. However the portion of food is not on higher side but on the costlier side too.
Mother’s Day brunch - felt like a potluck. Ran out of food- example: no shrimp at raw bar and no filet at carving station. Burned omelet and waffles all broken in pieces. Worst of all - staff were non responsive. Never again!
We went to The Bercy for Mother's Day lunch. I did not know ahead of time that we had to do the "all you can eat" buffet, which was pricier than lunch from the menu. So while I do not think I would go there again for Mother's Day, all of the food was quite good. I had been to this restaurant for dinner twice before, and the food is always excellent with a good variety. In any case, we ended up having a great time and excellent food.
We visited for the $55 mother's day brunch buffet.
In fairness, I have not tried the normal dinner menu which is likely a very different experience. But if you evaluate the brunch buffet for what it is -- there is no justification to come here and pay this price point for the food that you get.
There is bread, some egg dish (it started out as a quiche lorraine and then switched to plain scrambled eggs after 1 hour of opening the doors), breakfast meat, seafood, omelet/waffle station, a carving station, and desserts. All of the food is laid out along the bar area with two satellite stations positioned awkwardly in corners of the dining area. Nothing I had was great -- it was all just generic breakfast food. The leg of lamb was definitely the low point of the meal. Several people were seated right in front of the buffet line and you could tell they were visibly annoyed by a sea of people's waists hovering inches away from their food for their entire meal.
It goes without saying that I would not go back again for the brunch -- but I would go as far as to say that I would not go back even if the price was cut in half.
Radnor Hotel Sunday brunch buffet is orders of magnitude better in quality, service, and ambiance at a price point 40% lower than Bercy. If I were a betting man, I would guess that the rate of return customers who attend Bercy for Mother's day brunch would be in the single digit percentages.
Unimpressed. Food was just ok, service not great. No need to return
We had a group of seven for my father's 80th birthday and enjoyed the experience. The service was excellent and accommodating. The interior is well designed, typical of many restaurants today. The prices are a bit on the high side, but the overall food quality is good. My French onion soup was excellent, although the steak with the steak frites was a bit on the fatty side.
Beautiful building and decor but they have work to do, particularly with their service staff. The food got out quick, but then the service stopped. They didn't come over to ask if everything came out right in a timely manner. By the time they got there and I had to ask for salt and pepper (should have already been on the table), my entree was halfway complete.
We had three creme brulees on our dessert table and no spoons. Took me five minutes to flag him down and ask for spoons. He gave me a passing "Yeah" upon hearing my request, walked over to the silverware area....and came back with forks. I was getting frustrated by now. "We are eating creme brulee, we need spoons!" He finally came back with spoons.
Sensing my frustration, he (Isaiah) then never returned to our table. He never dropped the check. We sat there for 20 minutes, sometime raising hands to get his attention, and he kept walking past us. Finally the other server brought our check to us.
Food: No real complaints. Most people were happy. The rotisserie chicken was vrey good. The veal disappointed. I didn't expect it to be breaded and fried. And if it is going to b breaded, there should be a sauce to soften it, not just arugula. So yeah, that wasn't a great dish.
Overall a pricey dinner for one of the least pleasing dinner experiences I have had in awhile. I don't expect to come back.
Service was really off. Was a bit surprised for a restaurant if this caliber. The manager acknowledged that service was bad, but his acknowledgement did not feel sincere.
Outstanding Bouillabaisse. Great service and ambiance.
My supervisor and I had a wonderful luncheon experience. Our waitor could not have been more attentive and our food was delicious. I had been here for dinner and had an equally good experience.
This has become our favorite dinner place. A perfect mix of sophistication and friendly atmosphere. The food is top notch. Our favorites are the chicken and the trout, but we have yet to try anything that wasn’t excellent. The wine list is good too: don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations. You’ll enjoy a great evening here.
Food was good but a bit expensive as were drinks. The service was very good.
Very good quality of food, fine dinning, very enjoyable!
Another fantastic dinner!!!! Tuna, steak, fried artichokes. All great! Looking forward to a new menu and now everyday lunch!! We also enjoyed being part of a wonderful 1 year anniversary Happy Hour and congratulations to Jen, Jonathan, Justin and Joe! We hope there will be many more reasons to celebrate at The Bercy!! The Happy Hour menu and drink specials are all the reason you need to skip out of work early!!! Go!!!
An excellent new local Main Line restaurant. Food is very good with menu changes that respond to customer input
Waiter was very attentive and friendly initially and then became scarce as the evening progressed. Had to wait too long to order another glass of wine with our meal. Had to wait really long to get a check and then to receive back the credit slip to sign. However, food was very good.
Pleasantly surprised! Food superb! Sat upstairs and energetic noise front below only disappointment. But will return.
Overpriced and very average.
Our server Cory was amazing, we will definitely be back !
The food is overpriced for what you get back in quality. My wife and I both felt sick the next morning after eating here. The person (not sure if it was the general manager) who greeted us and our waiter were both kind and welcoming, so I would in no way complain about how we were greeted or served, but we were disappointed with the food. I also in making my reservation noted to them that it was my wife's birthday and hoped that they might acknowledge her, but they did not.
Rushed would be an understatement. Servers were hovering around our table, anxiously awaiting to clear our plates. More than once we had to say “we are not done”. Intended to go out for a nice relaxing evening that became stressful due to the feeling of being rushed
Food was fantastic, our favorites were the spring vegetable cavatelli & the bourguignon. Our server Cory (sp?) was amazing and gave us a fantastic experience.
Another wonderful evening at The Bercy. Superb dinner! My husband raved over the Veal Milanese and I had the trout. So good, one of my favorite items on the menu! Went back on Saturday for a perfectly prepared omelette with sautéed spinach on the side. As always the staff is so welcoming and friendly. We are there so much they are like family. Never disappoints. Go.
I have been here two times now. The BErcy is nice to have in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is nice but not too formal. Last week, service was great although food a little slow. Waiter could not have been nicer. The entrees were fine but a bit pricey. THe appetizer (fois gras) was not very good given the syrupy sweet and messy fruit sauce. The dessert was called a merangue and was inedible. Given the prices, food needs to be better.
We went for Easter brunch. The format was awful. The omelette station was basically in the kitchen, so there wasn’t a good place to wait. The food handling was interesting. The carving station had salmon and duck right next to each other. The omelette chef used the same spatula for my friend’s crab omelette and my cheese omelette, which would be fine if I want allergic. The French toast station was tucked in a corner. Point is, the restaurant shouldn’t offer a buffet. The quarters were tight and unpleasant.
The Easter brunch was not worth the cost that they charged. They also did not notify us that there was a price increase for the brunch and did not see any info about it on their website or Facebook.
Watch the tables upstairs and towards the front. We were by the elevator and had people hovering over our table for the whole brunch.
Our waiter Corey was amazing!!! Food was excellent!!!
The food and the service have always been excellent! The noise level can be a bit on the loud side but overall a wonderful restaurant with fantastic French cuisine!!!
Omelette was more like powdered eggs
Didn’t have vegetables in it that I asked for
What a lovely time the 5 of us had at my favorite restaurant! The new twist to the goat cheese appetizer is delicious! Very fresh tasting with the blueberries which are perfect with the dish. Eggs Benedict was a big hit. The star of the meal goes to the HUGE shrimp cocktail. Must have! And leave room for dessert!!! Love everyone there. Thanks again Jen and Jonathan!
Wonderful anniversary dinner here!
