This is our second time eating here. The food, service and staff are all excellent. Both times we have truly enjoyed everything about our experience. Very excited to try the new location and sports barb This will be a new regular restaurant we will go to frequently.
The overall feel of the establishment is intimate and cozy. I was impressed with the variety of drinks offered as well as the menu. The portions served are very generous. Our server Anna was beyond incredible. She was polite, professional, personable, knowledgeable about the menu, and timed the meal perfectly. I loved the additional personal touch of the happy anniversary note from the staff.

I ordered a Filet Chef’s Way and I honestly can say it was THE BEST thing that has touched my palate! Also, the House salad was out of this world delicious. If they had lunch hours I would go just for that salad!
My husband had the Ribeye, Twice Baked Potato and French Onion Soup.
He enjoyed everything just as much as I did. He said the soup was the best he has ever had!
To top off our spectacular dinner, we were offered dessert on the house for our anniversary.
We chose Salted Caramel Crème Brûlée which was heavenly.
We have found our new restaurant for celebrations.

The Benchmark staff was amazing and made the celebration of my wife’s retirement so special.
We had heard such good things about this restaurant. We reserved a table months ago for a new year’s dinner. We were disappointed with the experience. Service was spot on. Very attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff.
The $12 crock of onion soup was tasteless.
The $9 wedge salad also had a tasteless blue cheese dressing.
My $45 New York strip was cooked perfectly, but not the best steak I have ever had.
My wife’s $54 ribeye was lukewarm .
The best part of my meal was my $7 side of grits.
$11 martinis came in bulky cut crystal glasses that were hard to handle.
Sorry but we will not be back.
Very impressed with the service and the food. Our ribeye steak was cooked to exactly how we asked. The stuffed chicken was very juicy and tender. The brussel sprouts and twice baked potato was also great tasting. I feel you cannot order anything bad here. The chef mingled and answered questions, our waiter was always filled and we enjoyed the hustle and bustle of all the waiters/waitresses as they worked and made sure everyone was taken care of.
It was an Awesome restaurant choice next to our Hotel making that even more convenient. We purchased a gift card to encourage our friends to come and try it. Thanks for the experience!
We ordered the butchers block dinner and the steaks were tough and everything was cold except for the potato, and my guess is they were waiting for it to get done before bringing the butcher block. We were not asked how it was for quite a while and just didn’t seem worth it to mention it. I also asked the server about an email for a free appetizer I received in my email, and she advised she would check with the chef, and it was never mentioned again. A lot of friends have been saying the butcher block meal was good and we were excited to try it, but just didn’t seem worth the $310 meal to eat cold and tough steak. The last time we were there, it was a good experience, after yesterday, not so much.
Our favorite restaurant. Audrey was our waitress and was outstanding. John the GM picked perfect wine to complement our steak and seafood entrees.

Very nice fine dining experience. French onion soup was great. 10 oz filet the chefs way was amazing. So good! Bourbon cake with ice cream dessert was perfect. We will definitely be back!

This was our first visit to the Benchmark and we will definitely go back! The food and service were both outstanding. We ordered wine, split a wedge salad, and ordered the Butcher’s Board for two. We didn’t get a side because the board was more than enough for the two of us. It included a prime filet, a prime strip steak, lobster tail, scallops and shrimp. Everything was delicious! Since it was my birthday, we even received a complimentary desert and split the creme brûlée. Prices seem comparable to any of Toledo’s top steak houses and it was plenty crowded with couples and groups.
