    My husband and I were out for our 9th anniversary. Our server, Casandra was spectacular! Very knowledgeable, patient, and not rushing us at all. When the food came out it wasn’t very hot but it tasted amazing so we didn’t care. We got NY strip and lamb chops (which were even better than the steak) and a couple sides to share. The desserts sounded lovely but we were too full. After telling my parents about it, they are looking forward to going themselves.

    The food was amazing and the service is unrivaled. My only issue was that the acoustics make for a very loud restaurant. The quality of the food and service certainly outweigh that, but it's definitely quite loud once their tables begin to fill. It was still a very good meal and I will absolutely return.

    We had Marcus (Mark) as our server. He was awesome, very knowledgeable about the menu, and made some great recommendations on things we hadn’t tried there. Everything was great, as always.

    All steaks are served a la cart for starters. You’re not getting much for your money. Most of the guests near us were simply eating meat with no side dishes. I presume this is due to the prices which are high. The table bread was ok but not fabulous. My wife had the lamb chops and wasn’t impressed. I had a New York strip that came out overcooked. It was quickly replaced with another that was delicious. We were offered a side dish or something as compensation for their error which was nice. I declined their offer. We shared some Parmesan French fries that were pretty good as well. We each had a $14.50 margarita. Overall it was a decent meal with a really high price. No need for us to return there to be honest. Mancys steakhouse is our go to place and benchmark has nothing on them.

    Celebrated our engagement here. Food was fantastic. Had wonderful service. Highly recommend the whipped feta appetizer, and the stuffed chicken if you don’t want red meat.

    To start we were seated promptly. The food was delicious, the server was very knowledgeable about the wine listing and menu specials for the evening. I would arrive early there is limited parking for the amount of businesses in the area.

    Benchmark is a very nice high end steakhouse. The food was absolutely amazing. We both remarked that our steaks were the best we'd ever had. The fresh cut fries were also extremely good. Our server was super friendly and attentive to our every need. He came to our table frequently to see if we needed anything but not so much that it was bothersome. The manager also came by to say hello. Overall, a great dining experience. Our bill for 2 was $250.

    To start with, the food is amazing! There is an eclectic food selection and it is prepared exquisitely! Our server, Emily, was top-notch! She was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. Our food was served at an appropriate pace, meaning, we had time to enjoy our drinks, then our appetizer, before the entrees arrived. I cannot say enough about Benchmark. From the welcoming hostess upon entering, to the friendliness and knowledge of Emily, our server, to the presence and active-involvement of the manager, to the delicious and well prepared food - this was a perfect dining experience! We will definitely be back!

    Great quality meal with delightful flavor and presentation. The Feta Cheese appetizer was outstanding and of course the puff pastry was very tasty. The Sea Bass was delicious and steak prepared perfectly. Perfect place to celebrate or a special occasion.

    Very friendly serve staff that was knowledgeable and attentive. The dining space is modern and comfortable. My family eats at top level steak houses often and has had all the great cuts and types including A5. From the appetizers to steaks to dessert - the food was fantastic!! The service & environment is a bit more informal than I expected which keeps it from being stuffy but it’s also why I scored those areas as I did. Overall a great experience!

    One of, if not the best restaurant in Toledo. We often visit their sister restaurant, Claude's Prime Seafood, for drinks and appetizers. Both are very good!

    Food is delicious, but hurts the pocket book some. For the wife and I (2) steak dinners, 2 sides and 3 drinks a piece was 250.00 Oviously, this is like a once a year thing, and hope the prices come down to make it more than just once a year.

    Benchmark food & service is great. Complaint is the how sound travels and it gets very loud & difficult to hear others in your party resulting in everyone talking over others. The acoustics are less than ideal. Also the clearing of our plates was a bit excessive. Items were cleared without first asking and we were left unable to finish or continue to graze...even if "out of order". For example I wanted to continue to eat the bread/butter with and after my dinner and not fill up before but bam the bread plate kept getting swiped away. I enjoy leftovers and was left with very little....only a bit of the entree as not that much left of that since I didn't get to enjoy the bread or appetizer as I was eating or finished the entree.

    Benchmarks is one of our favorite places to eat. The food and atmosphere are always good. The service most of the time is outstanding! I just wished they would do away with the credit card fee. With fine dining and their prices, which is definitely worth it, you should not be charging a credit card fee. And no, most places are not, which was the excuse we have gotten. We will always come back here but will not pay that fee. For a $300 bill, you should not be charged $9 for using your credit card, plus leave a tip, too. Most people do not carry cash anymore and should not be penalized for that.
