   We attended last evening to support a musician friend. We ordered at 8pm. At 9:10pm I tracked down the server. It's a small venue, but only one server. At 9:10 I told her to cancel my food. At 9:20 the owner/"chef" comes out with my food. "I 'm sorry, we had a big crowd". I said NO,. cancelled it. It's HIS problem to fix waiting 70 min for food. HIRE STAFF. After the night was over at 10pm, he confronted me outside. "Never come back to my restaurant" He never gave me the opportunity to speak. He turned on his heels and walked away.

   I only have 800 words to reply to you and could never say what needs to be said in this short window. You berated me and my server, you intentionally tripped my server not once but twice. You sir, are a nasty individual and I am not ashamed to tell you this in a public forum. I attempted to do everything in my power to appease the situation but you vehemently did not allow me to do so. The kind woman that you were with saturday night saw your nastiness and asked you to stop, your friend... the musician that played that night, asked you to stop. But you did not. Every guest in the dining room saturday night apologized to me, for your terrible behavior and most of them didnt even know you. Your behavior was appalling and as you stated, you are not welcome back at the Bellefonte Cafe. David

   The band - ( Johnny Never and John Colgan-Davis) was great. Alyssa and Riley are wonderful servers, food delicious as always !

   Absolutely the best neighborhood restaurant there is! Awesome atmosphere and service. Delicious meals and beverages and wonderful entertainment! Great job all!

   Neighborhood gem. We did not expect live music on a Tuesday night! What a nice bonus. The food and cocktails were very good. My only suggestion would be to add a couple more entree choices.

   We chatted with the server and rec'd the exact salmon and potatoes we asked. Previously there was much too much kale with the salmon. So, continue with the sides of asparagus, potatoes and a few kale

   Although a limited menu, the food was unique, Fortunately I like trying new foods. We especially enjoyed the music. Band was great. And the interaction was most enjoyable.

   I had salmon. That was tasty. However, WAY too much kale. I would strongly suggest a half plate of garlic mashed potatoes. Hard to believe anyone eats that much kale. Half price wine was boffo. Dave Zipse is phenomenal

    This was the second time that we have eaten at the Bellefonte Cafe. They are very sensitive to food allergies and have been able to provide gluten free appetizers and main entrees. The food is excellent, some of the best that we have had in the area. The wine is good and the service is friendly. Both times that we have dined at the Bellefonte Cafe was to also enjoy live music which is just very special in such a unique location with an enjoyable ambience.
