Birthday dinner table of five early dinner. Solo musician was great. Really quaint neighborhood restaurant feel. Bar looks fun to sit and have a casual dinner and a drink. Highly recommend

Great food. I had the smash burger-delicious-I’d get it again. Co-diner had the lentils and green onion, lemon and kale. Peach pie for dessert was good. Service just right. Music was a nice talent.

My partner and I, who had driven from Philadelphia to Wilmington to go to the Delaware Art Museum, were baffled by this restaurant. It's an exceedingly humble establishment, the upside of which is that plenty of original details have been preserved; it's like stepping back in time. But the food was extraordinarily bad. A Portuguese-style (?) soup with sausage and kale was a thin, dreary prison ration and a black bean soup was the same, albeit with a few black beans and a watery black bean puree, accompanied by several shards of what appeared to be scallion. Main dishes were an avocado wrap, which, although generous in size, contained rather little avocado and was packed with bland quinoa that included flaccid mixed greens and the ubiquitous pink strips of pickled onion. A polenta with shrimp... Not sure how to depict it except to say that the polenta contained lumps, like insufficiently stirred Cream of Wheat, and that the cheese liberally shaken on top had the commercial jacked-up taste of pre-grated "parmesan" that is sold on supermarket shelves and loved by children. The shrimp were slender things and not overcooked, so that was a plus. The restaurant was unable to provide us with sparkling water, as the only such thing on offer is club soda that issues from the bar gun dispenser. Service was friendly, attentive, and warm, but we were not asked why we had neglected to eat most of what had been placed before us.

We had a very pleasant experience. The menu, though somewhat limited, included several vegan choices. The portions were large and tasty and Katie provided excellent service. The prices were reasonable, except that the dessert we ordered was too pricey. We'll definitely be going back.

What a great experience! The service was quick and friendly with multiple check points throughout the evening. The food came out relatively fast and it was fresh. Overall a great experience! Would love to see a kids menu in the future to cater to the younger clientele.

There wasn’t the live music we came for, but dinner was fantastic (smash burger and shrimp and grits). The waitress was really good, very sweet, was everyone there… as always. This restaurant is pure Love.
