   We were extremely well looked after with attentive but not intrusive service. The whole ambience was relaxed and unrushed even though the pub was extremely busy. The food was of excellent quality, generously proportioned and well presented. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

   We were shown to our table in a cold dining room. On our previous visit, the stove was lit but not this time. We endured this for a while before asking for the radiator to be turned on. The waitress, who was pleasant enough, returned saying that nothing could be done. It seemed odd that the stove couldn't be lit or the central heating turned on. A couple who were shown to their table in the dining room didn’t stay long before they decided to move to the bar area which was warmer. Eventually, we also got a table in the bar area where we were able to enjoy our meal in relative warmth. We left a group of four South Koreans sitting in their coats alone in the dining room! Stupidly, we left a tip because a member of our group thought it was required. We really sent the wrong message because our visit fell very short of our expectation to enjoy lunch in comfort.

   Very enjoyable meal the first time back here for a while. The pub looked to have had a freshen up. We were seated in the bar area in a quiet corner. We both ordered the steak main course. It was extremely well cooked and the chips were outstanding (too many times we've eaten at restaurants that cannot produce decent chips!). I had the hand cut, my husband had fries. Thoroughly recommend this pub for its cosy traditional interior, great quality food well cooked and bright, bubbly staff.

   Very good experience at the Kelsey Bell. Wonderful staff, food well cooked and presented. Would recommend to anyone staying nearby to pay a visit.

   What a lovely place the Bell is. This was my second visit to the Bell, and once again the food and service was excellent and is good value.

   The Bell is our local village pub and it’s going from strength to strength. We ate on Saturday evening. The food was delicious and the service prompt and friendly. We shall return often!

    The Bell is a transformed and delightful "proper" rural pub, after decades in the doldrums. We had a good evening in the village we know so well. Good food from an interesting menu. We'll be back! Fred Bramham.
