Wednesday lunch…. Warm welcome, seated and drinks order taken without any delay…. Decided on the king prawn linguine and the duck wrap both amazing and can’t fault… shared the almond sponge again delicious and too good to share… value for money… one of our favourite places …

We both really enjoyed our three course meal, including two main fish courses, from a wide ranging menu. Service was prompt, obliging and friendly without being obtrusive. The only slightly off-putting aspect is that in all three dining areas the tables are very close together so all conversations are unavoidably shared!

My wife and I enjoyed our lunch at The Bell and Cross. The food is consistently excellent and the service is good. We will no doubt be returning in the near future.

A Tuesday lunch time visit of 4 so not very busy. We all had a different main course, all were very good. My pea and asparagus gnocchi was excellent. Similarly 4 different deserts, all very good. The Almond sponge was particularly good. Service was good with just the right amount of attention. Value is always subjective but given the high standard of food I felt it was very good value.

This dinner was amazing. Quantity and quality to a perfect balance. I had the duo of meats beef and pork and they were not stingy with the portions. Fast service, pleasant staff and nice cosy environment. Overall it's a 10 from me

Very quiet on a Tuesday lunchtime so the place lacked its usual atmosphere. It was a birthday meal, which was mentioned when booking. Disappointed that nobody wished my husband a happy birthday. Lovely food as usual.
