   A perfect place for chilled late birthday lunch , food excellent perfect pallet for a hungry 12 year old and two adults , they love dogs as well , the brisket burger was very special ! The words of our son !! The front of house make the experience even more enjoyable , we ate in the bar but I don’t think there is a more beautiful view when sat outside any where else local

   Went for Sunday lunch after a nice walk along the river from Goring and Streatly. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food. My son said his burger was one of the best he’s ever tasted… and he’s had quite a few at the age of 24. Exceeded our expectations and would definitely return.

   Our latest visit celebrated 25 years of marriage. Coincidentally, when we were dating, this was one of the first places we visited. Our complete experience was a delight. Delicious food and immaculate service. Congratulations on reviving such an iconic restaurant. As regards the accommodation, this was excellent without being fussy. We will return!

   Really good! Mains took a little while to come out but expect it was just busy. Heated pods are great.

   Belly pork a little dry . Gnocchi main course , rather a small portion . Delicious dessert ,beautifully presented

    A delicious meal in a lovely setting. Our friends who were visiting from Holland were totally delighted by the friendly welcome and great service. Highly recommend.
