Sautéed Brussels Sprouts
lemon cream, spinach purée, aged parmesan, herbed bread crumbs, pork lardons
14oz Ny Strip
Definitely a nice addition to Catonsville dining options. Upscale menu and wine list. The restaurant is not too big and has a nice neighborhood feel to it. Great service and great food.
Extensive wine list, with price points for everyone. Delicious, creative cocktails. Menu offered choices for both meat and seafood lovers. Steaks we ordered were perfect. Highly recommended.
Service and food were both excellent. I really liked the atmosphere as well.
Oh my, the smoked old fashion was a great start on a gray evening, just the right amount of smoke. Would have been fun to see it made though, if there is a way to do that, it can be a fun "show"...the bartender making a smoked cocktail. The braised lamb shank was perfectly done, falling off the bone, with a balanced complement of roasted carrots, brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. Topping it all off with a lovely lightly sweet creme brulee made for a beautiful meal. The service was attentive, and we were not rushed, and conversation was possible because the noise level was low-- all in all a wonderful evening!
Amazing food and perfectly attentive service. Unfortunately the noise level was so high, it was hard to have a conversation. We made it work with the two of us, but it would be difficult to bring a group. The addition of acoustic wall panels would help immensely!
Our server, Brynne, was outstanding. She was knowledgeable about the menu and very personable. Our only complaint is the noise level. It was difficult to hear and converse.
Wonderful time. Our server Rob was very engaging and had a great command of the menu. Food was delicious!
We had our first dining experience at The Beaumont on a Saturday evening in November 2021. We were greeted by a very enthusiastic young lady named Holly who turned out to be our server as well. We began with a pair of specialty Manhattans that were excellent. Though the restaurant is billed as a steakhouse, we elected to go in a completely different direction. We began with appetizers, including the grilled octopus (amazing) and the fig and brie toast (the low point of the meal, bland and boring). Our entrees were the braised lamb shank served with Brussels, carrots and mashed potatoes, and the scallop Saltimbocca, which sat atop a hash made of butternut squash and pear. The lamb was very tender and fell off of the bone. All of the accompaniments were perfect as well. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and would have been a home run had our server not poured the citrus cream sauce that came with the dish directly onto the food (the sauce comes in a little pitcher served next to the plate). This sauce was room temperature at best, so it served to cool the scallops pretty quickly. I really don't think the sauce added anything of culinary value to the scallops either, so I'd ask the server to forego this addition if you can. We skipped dessert as we were more than full from our meals. The interior of the restaurant was spare and formal. The noise level was relatively low given the smallish space. The service was very good. We're not big on beef, but we will definitely return.
High class dining experience, wonderful menu, personally had the New York strip and it was cooked perfectly. Drinks were great, chocolate cake and espresso martini for dessert was awesome.
This is a fairly new restaurant. It is very small and little room between tables. The two seater tables are very small. The atmosphere is intimate even without any booths. I wasn’t impressed at all with the service. We both ordered the Ribeye with the Bone in. Our waiter did not check the food for corrections before bringing it out to the table or after we cut in to see if the steak was prepared correctly. My steak was ordered MW, it came out M. It was sent back to be recooked. The management handled the steak situation promptly. My friend ordered her second drink with her dinner and received her second drink close to the end of her being full. The waiter forgot to bring out the A1 steak sauce we had to ask twice. The present of the food is nice. The claim chowder was very good. The gulf shrimp was very good. I had a Amaretto Sour drink which was very good. I like Heinz 57 which they did not have. Maybe they will consider having at least a bottle of Heinz 57 as an option for guest who prefer that over A1. The steaks were ok but not that impressive.
Such a quality meal. The Bone-in Pork Ribeye and Wagyu Flank Steak were perfectly seasoned. Couldn't decide which side dish was the best - creamed spinach, brussels, mac and cheese, or mustard greens. All were great. The service was exceptional, if after they got a little busy. Can't wait to go back!
Great little gem in Catonsville. Have dined here 5 times great experience every time. Defiantly recommend
Had such a nice dinner at The Beaumont with my mom and sisters. Our cocktail were delicious and the food so good. Had a burger, the pork chop, chicken and dumplings and the lamb shank and everything was on point. Much busier than our previous visit(opening week) and I’m happy to see people enjoying this new option in Catonsville. I’ve seen some reviews complaining about the noise level and I can only guess that there was a larger party there contributing to the noise. Luckily our night was predominantly tables of two, which is much quieter. It is a smaller space so larger groups will be noticeable.
The sides dishes were too salty, both with the brussel sprouts and the asparagus, they tasted like someone had dashed them we too much sea salt.
An absolute gem in Catonsville. Food and service are top notch.
Lovely dinner, loud at times, the bottleneck between the last couple tables is a bit awkward. Service is always excellent!
I had the 14 oz strip steak which was very good and done right. The sides (brussel sprouts and baked potato were just ok). My wife had the flank steak which she said was very good, but was disappointed with the macaroni and cheese side dish. We would however try the Beaumont again for another meal.
Noise level was so high that my wife and I could not carry on a conversation. Young people next to us where constantly flashing their smartphone screens in our direction - very annoying. Parking was very difficult and made more difficult by the number of street lights that were out in the 800 block of Frederick Road. Staff were very nice and food was good but a little pricey for Catonsville.
Great food & service! Ask for Robert.
Service was good, prompt and courteous. The food was excellent. We got the charcuterie board which was excellent,, and shared the tomahawk steak. By far the best steak I've had in many years, cooked perfectly and wow the flavor. A little pricy, but would definitely recommend. We will return.
Service and food was great
We 4 enjoyed our meals and the service. We plan to return!
Everyone enjoyed their choices. There were many to choose from. That was a predicament as every dish sounded delicious. There was salmon, Ribeye, duck etc., and the portions nice so you could have dessert. Crème Brûlée, Ice Creams etc., but the best was a Pavlova with fresh figs. The Beaumont has a very extensive wine list and also a full bar. I would recommend this new Restaurant in Catonsville.
Thank you for Being there.
Atmosphere was relaxed and even though every table was filled, it didn’t feel like we were squeezed into the restaurant. The server was knowledgeable and attentive but also unintrusive. The food was top notch, we ordered a ribeye and a filet and they were both cooked perfectly. Cocktails were excellent, highly recommend the last word.
Disappointing 2nd visit.. a month later… not as impressive as our inaugural visit a month ago. .All 3 soups/clam chowder were ordered at 4:40pm and the soups arrived 35 minutes later…Luke warm…. We sent the soups back to be reheated. ..the matre de came over later in the meal and comped all 3 soups, bread was an improvement over last visit. My 2 old fashions were generous and well mixed. My wife’s NY strip was “ fatty” but well sized for the price. My bone in rib eye was ample and tasty…took half home… 1 of 2 sides was delicious (Mac & cheese) fries were underwhelming. Overall… kitchen still trying to find its sea legs. Hope The Beaumont picks up its game… who as 1st customers @ 4:30pm is willing to wait 35 minutes for the highly anticipated cold clam chowder? Not acceptable.
Very nice upscale neighborhood Steak House.
Easy to navigate menu. Service was great.
Has tremendous potential.
Truly a wonderful addition to Main Street Catonsville! The food was perfectly prepared as ordered and the wine list has something for all budgets. The staff was very profession and attentive - full disclosure, at 8 pm on a Monday, we were the only table (4). That said, they weren't annoyed that we were there or rushing us out. Any place that offers, and succeeds, with grilled octopus makes me happy! The steaks were perfectly cooked and the sides were delicious. A comment to the Restaurant Group: With impeccable service at The Beaumont, clearly it can be done.
Please work on the other two restaurants in the group.
Amazing food and drinks. Very attentive service.
First time and if you want a good piece of meat this is your place
The food was good and the waiter was good. The noise level was obnoxiously very loud. The four of us had to shout to be heard, so while the restaurant has some things going for it, it turned out to be a very very unsatisfactory experience. They need to install some noise reduction curtains, some carpet, or some other sound absorbing devices.
We are so lucky to have a restaurant of this quality in our neighborhood, Catonsville.
everything we had to eat was excellent and the service was outstanding
we had the broiled oysters, smoked mussels with cesar salad, porterhouse steak for two, and creme brulee. Wine was a little too pricey as no single glass of wine was less than $12.00.
One of the best dinners we've ever had. Lovely surroundings, experienced and friendly servers and amazing food. Once our nearby rowdy diners who mistook this for a sports bar left, the sound level was fine. Elegant atmosphere and food at very fair prices. A hint - we split a salad as an appetizer and it was ample for each of us. Fabulous salmon, perfect risotto (which is difficult to achieve), and the best perfectly cooked NY strip that my husband ever had!! Our new favorite restaurant!!
Six of us dined. The service was excellent and their bourbon cocktails were delicious. From the starters to the entrees, everything was delicious. Our server, Holly, was very attentive and so friendly! Do yourself a favor and try The Beaumont out for yourself!
The food was delicious. The waiter was prompt, helpful and often checked back with us to see how everything was. Only mild concern was the overall noise.
The Beaumont was a real treat of a find! Highly recommend it.
We came for the steak and were not disappointed. Sides were basic but flavorful and the service was great. Busy for a Monday night which was encouraging as a newer place in 21228. Would definitely come again. Well done.
The service abs food were excellent! Our waiter and the bartender were quite helpful and answered our questions well with great explanations.
This was one of those random, open table suggestions. We will definitely be back. The food was great. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Service was impeccable. Ask for Mel. He was friendly and knowledgeable.
Food and service are excellent. Appetizers were great with excellent choices.
All 3 steak entrees were perfectly seasoned and cooked
