   My spouse is vegetarian and I am vegan, and we were so excited to be able to find delicious menu options for our anniversary dinner. The eggplant dumplings were incredible. Appreciate the care and creativity that goes into the food and the seasonal rotations. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for an upscale but still comfortable and down to earth experience!

   Tbh. It was a little weird. The food was good mostly. The Courtbuillon was not actually that, but was good and the portion was nice. The pork collar was fantastic and a huge portion, which was good, because the kid’s steak was small and he was still hungry, so he finished my dinner. His cake and ice cream was good, the tart had nice filling, but the crust was not so great. Overall, I have no complaints.

   Absolutely amazing across the board! Ashley was the best server, and we just enjoyed every single thing we ate. Definitely get the bread plate, deviled eggs, pork, and lobster bisque. We can’t wait to go back!

   Highly recommend the Thai lobster bisque and the deviled eggs which were truly outstanding. Other dishes we had were quite tasty and very good but not as memorable.

   Really like this place!!! Upon arrival we were greeted and seated promptly. Or server was awesome and presented us with a refreshing Cucumber Shooter to cleanse our palates. Our server checked on us regularly, but not too much. She kept our waters and my wife's soda full. Her personality was very pleasant and genuine. She was knowledgeable on the menu and what she wasn't sure of; she asked the kitchen. We started with two appetizers: the Chilled Asparagus and Rock Shrimp Risotto. Both were great! My wife had the Fillet (a perfect medium) and I chose the Pork Collar; both were outstanding! We also ordered two sides, Brussel Sprouts and Yukon Mashed Potatoes; both were amazing. We finished with the Buttermilk Tart which we highly recommend! Portions were nice and we left comfortably full and with leftovers. We will be back!

   Menu is really well done…apps, small plates and entrees…as well as table dishes like 32 oz ribeye and whole fish. We did an expensive bread plate , wonderful chicken liver pate and then asparagus salad which was outstanding…eggplant dumplings were delicious in a spicy broth and orreciete pasta were both outstanding. Wine list is a bit intimidating to me as I’m Cali knowledgeable but the list is dominated by French and Italian in fact only 2 California wines on list but 1 was the dependable Titus cab so if the euro choices follow I’m sure awesome. Word of warning despite excellent dishes and amazing service…thanks Travis…noise level is horrendous..something must be done …at $100/person I must be able to communicate with my spouse and waiter without yelling. If noise levels are fixed it’s another great go to on Magnolia to join Ellerbe.

   We really enjoyed most of our food but felt the service was lacking. Our server didn’t know the answers to some of our questions about the menu and didn’t offer to find the answers. It was difficult to catch her attention when we needed anything. We thought the rabbit, eggplant dumplings, Thai lobster bisque and burrata were very good. The “soft lettuces” salad and cold asparagus were underwhelming. The menu described the asparagus as being charred and didn’t mention that it is pickled. We wish the menu had been more descriptive on several of the dishes we ordered, or that our server had described them to us. We will probably try this restaurant again in a few months, but our impression after this visit was that the price didn’t seem justified.

    Fantastic dining experience for a group of 8. Our server Travis really put this over the top for us. Glad to have a dining option like this in our back yard. Seriously chefs kiss 🤌🏾
