   The Beach Restaurant is a gem. Fish and chips is hard to beat when it is done well and the Beach Restaurant does exactly that. Great to see hake on the menu, too - a much-undervalued fish. Batter can make or break fish and chips and thus restaurant does it perfectly - light and crispy. It was our last meal in St Ives on our latest visit and it is one we won't forget for all the right reasons. Friendly and prompt service capped it all.

   Started with delicious oysters. Then we had the special of Cod and Chips. Only £15. For that you got a huge perfectly battered cod and crispy, chunky chips. I had the side of curry sauce which was delicious too. Can’t wait to go back. Always have an amazing meal. They even do fish with just butter drizzled over the top which is amazing too.

    My husband and I returned to the Beach restaurant and loved seeing Emma who was as attentive and happy as ever. The food was great. Menu varied and wine excellent. A great evening thank you .

    Visit every time we are down in St Ives. The staff always attentive, kind and friendly. They are always accommodating to our young children and we always have a table with a view which is always appreciated. Thank you for yet another lovely meal. See you in May 2023!

    Our experience at the Beach restaurant was outstanding. The staff were friendly helpful and accommodating in regards to our everyneed. The decor and ambience were lovely and, most importantly, the food was fabulous. Our every request was fulfilled by the friendly waitress and our evening was, in all, perfect. The restaurants in St Ives have now become overpriced and, with limited menus, are all much the same and too expensive. The Beach restaurant fulfillrd all our wishes for a perfect dining experience.

    Service was poor. Young man serving threw menus towards us on arrival, dropped plates onto the table, half cleared the table before getting distracted, gave wine list and didn’t return to take order! Food was actually good though. Shame.

    We very much enjoyed our visit to The Beach Restaurant. Three things stood out: 1. A short wait for food. 2. Food was beautifully presented and very tasty. 3. Most importantly, the young women who were serving were brilliant - so welcoming, helpful, polite and yet efficient. They made our visit (celebrating A Level resutls with our granddaughter) such a memorable experience.
