The Beach House
Little necks were great
Pork chop was excellent
The views are beautiful but the food is subpar. We started with calamari (this was covered in a overly sweet sauce). Also ordered swordfish covered in mexican style sauce and beans. The swordfish wasn't super fresh. "Farm fresh vegetables" covered in sauce, mashed potatoes standard.
Our waitress was nice but soooo bored to be there. Bathrooms were dirty, low on soap and no hand towels.
Skip this place and keep driving.
It was fantastic.
Absolutely gorgeous location overlooking the bay! The service still needs to work out the kinks after only having been in action for one year. Food was good once it came and it would have been nice if someone had asked how our meal was and if we wanted wine. Once these pieces are worked out, it will be a hidden gem.
Excellent cocktails, loved the Bristol Stomp! Calamari and crabcakes were delish! Had the seafood Paella again, delicious as usual.Husband had the fried Clam plate. Excellent. Tiramisu was scrumptious with a lovely presentation. More than enough for 2 people!
Really lovely place to enjoy some of RI's best summer views of the bays, boats and the occasional rider on the bike path. The people were friendly and attentive and the food was perfect summer al fresco lunch by the sea.
Spent the weekend in Bristol and made a reservation for dinner for my girlfriends birthday.
We enjoyed a perfect summer evening by having dinner on the Beach House patio, watching the sun set over the Narragansett Bay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and our waitress, Kara, was fantastic. She even created a honey mustard sauce from scratch when my husband asked for some but the restaurant didn't offer it. We got a pitcher of red sangria, which was tasty and not too sweet. One person in our party got a BH Burger and thought it was fantastic. The rest of us enjoyed our meals, too--mostly from the appetizer menu. Best of all was the scenery and ambiance!
Enjoyed sitting outside on a beautiful evening watching sun set. First time eating there and will return.
Had dinner there in the past but my husband had an over cooked piece of swordfish.
First timers: we sat outside on a cloudy summer day. If it is windy out, outside seating might not be great, but we loved the view and all of the people passing by on the East Bay Bike Path. Staff were pleasant and food took (what felt like) minutes! My mom and I were both pleased with our apps and entrees. Great sized portions and reasonable prices.
Food was tasty, the view was beautiful nice night with a breeze and clouds perfect date night
Great scenic location. Restaurant sits on the side of the bike path right along the water. Incredible sunsets.
Food was so so. Swordfish slightly overlooked. Tuna was underdone. Waitress Emily was not attentive at all. We had to keep looking for her. My 1st glass of soda was flat. No fizz at all. Asked for rolls and received without any butter. Overall experience not very satisfactory. The view was great, but the food and service does not match the view. We won’t be in a rush to go back.
Beautiful setting right on the water. Service friendly & food was great!
We sat outside. Our server was wonderful! Nice menu and delicious food. We will be back.
view was awesome
menu was limited for sunday lunch
cocktails on the expensive side
We were so impressed! The view was amazing, the food was incredible! I'm looking forward to returning!
We do enjoy the outdoor seating on a summer evening but had to wait a long time for food to be served. Almost 45 minutes. We assumed it was due to busyness of a Saturday night. We had to send back two chowders as they were soured. No effort was made to remedy this. Therefore we will probably not return this season in hopes they improve for next summer.
Came here for my birthday—
This is a monthly get together and we had a lovely meal. The service was wonderful, the food was great, and the weather cooperated so we were able to sit outside.
The hostess were not very good at their job at all, could have done with out them, had no idea what they were doing when we had a very specific reservation.
the waitress Miranda, was fantastic. The food was wonderful, the portions were appropriate for the price. The clam chower was on point, loved the friend clam on top.
Can't wait to go back again !
Great food. Great view. Tables were a little close together.
Had a mid day dinner on the patio. Great food, great view, really good staff.
Such a charming place. Spectacular views. Probably the best fish and chips I've ever had - the fish was amazing and I wish I could have the recipe for their homemade tartar sauce! We went for a birthday dinner and it was perfect!
We really enjoyed the Paella (went very well with Firesteed Pino Noir IMO) ...and the cheesecake was fantastic! You could easily split the Paella and Cheesecake between two hungry people if you wanted a great meal for 1/2 the cost or wanted to avoid doggie bags/waste. We wouldn't recommend the salmon (overcooked and small for the price). Excellent service; outdoor seating gives a great West view of the bay with lots of sail boats and a picture-worthy sunset. There's plenty of shade and very little blocking the breeze. Only constructive feedback is that the dinner menu and wine list are too predictable... no, "Oh wow, they have ______on the menu!" moments. Overall, a very good experience though - we will be back :)
Another wonderful meal at The Beach House! Started with a pitcher of white sangria . We had their delicious clam chowder. We decided just to appetizers .Started with the Thai Sweet Chili calamari, followed by crab cakes with mango salsa and remoulade sauce. Finished with the delicious ,crispy garlic parmesan chicken wings ! Delish tiramisu for dessert!
Great food and wonderful experience. Our waitress was friendly and helpful but was not as attentive because she was taking care of another large group.
Overall, I would return.
Outdoor patio view was beautiful however service was extremely slow. My burger tasted burnt and fries were cold. Best part I guess was the chocolate cake.
Really great spot on the water, but the food was not great and expensive. Such a bummer!
Was surprised how good it was had not been there since they changed the name will definitely go back has a view to die for
We were very let down by the actual restaurant once we arrived; it DOES NOT look like it does on the website. That being said, we waited half an hour for drinks and about forty minutes for our food. There were a few larger parties which may have been the reason on the delays. Server was friendly and attentive. Their take on ceviche was AMAZING. One down side- the drinks don't taste very strong but are priced like they are pouring a double.
Very nice atmosphere right on the water. We chose to eat inside but the patio is beautiful.
Our server was outstanding. She explained everything to us and did not rush us as we were enjoying dinner with friends. Will certainly be back.
Good food, great service, breathtaking view. I would recommend eating outside. The tables overlook Bristol Harbor
Server was great. Food was okay. My crab cakes were undercooked as well as the scallops I ordered for dinner. Nice spot on a warm early evening night.
Sat down and waited 15 minutes and nobody came to serve us. We walked out
Solid to excellent food, steady service from a busy staff, a breathtaking view of the Bristol harbor from seats next to the bike path and the ocean. What was not to like?
Drinks were delicious! Apps and entrees were amazing! It was a group of 7. We ordered their delicious clam chowder, Sweet thai chili calamari, pork tacos, fish tacos for apps. For entrees Lobster and Scallop roll with sweet potato fries and home made cole slaw, salmon with mashed and seasonal veggies, Seafood paella, Fisherman's Linguine. For dessert tiramisu, a few espresso martinis. The sunset was fabulous!
Everything was excellent; except the drinks which were weak, watery and mostly ice.
We asked to eat outside and hostess asked if a little sun was okay. We said a little sun was fine but the table provided was full sun. The umbrellas are so oddly placed that many tables didn’t have shade coverage. For some reason they decided to give the biggest umbrella to the musician who was playing solo when he would have easily been covered with the smaller one. We have come here quite frequently and was surprised when we got our white sangria pitcher that it tasted completely off. When I told our waitress she stated they switch back and forth and today they were using the peach purée. We asked to switch to the red because we hated it and didn’t find the red that great but was tolerable unlike the white. They also don’t serve bacon for burgers they only carry bacon bits which is quite annoying.
