Great food and great service from Sally.

Way too loud to enjoy dinner. Band playing while we ate could not have a normal conversation. Don’t serve food if you hire a tacky loud band to play while people are eating, Ordered perch it was fishy. When server asked how everything was and I told her it was fishy she said that’s how perch tastes! Just ridiculous! No apologies... no thanks for feedback instead condescension! Just awful!

Overall The Bay Restaurant was very good. The only disappointing food item was the "loaded" baked potato I chose for my side. It cost extra and only came out with a bit of cheese & bacon, and was undercooked. All our other food choices were fantastic: Baystack Burger, Bahn Mi Hoagie, Artichoke Dip, and Roasted Vegetable appetizers. They tasted great and were at a good price point. It was definitely loud in the restaurant but it was packed, so the noise level was to be expected. Would definitely stop by again if coming to the area.

I have dined here a few times and happy to see a new menu with more Vegan/vegetarian items! Even gluten free options. Fun atmosphere, great service and food was yummy. I will for sure go back more often now. Oh they have a ton of different options for everyone. We had 7 people and everyone tried something different and very happy.

Everything we've ordered at The Bay has been great! I highly recommend the Spinach & Artichoke dip, which was the best I've ever had. And my husband LOVED the Haddock fish fry with homemade tartar sauce. I've never heard him rave about tartar sauce, but he did at The Bay!

Food & Service was great as was jazz group “Men in Black”. Great to see Warren W, again!

One of the few really good restaurants in Whitefish Bay.

3 of us "Over 40-somethings" are there on a Tuesday. The Beet salad, priced as an entree, was very small. Our friend was disappointed at the overall "Blah" of the salad. My Philly Cheesesteak hoagie was very good, however, and my 3rd friend said the Pulled Pork sandwich was "okay". His coleslaw was "eh" but my baked potato side was very good. The drink menu does not offer Bottles of wine. I live in Shorewood and may try The Bay again... not in a rush, though.

Really enjoyed our server. Red wine blend was delicious and a nice pour for the money. Nachos fresh and also tasty.

We sat outside. The waitress was very helpful and attentive. Food was good.

One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. So juicy and tender! Our server, Lauren, took good care of us. She was upbeat and very knowledgeable about the menu. I will be back!

Slow service and mediocre food. The shrimp pasta dish was fabulous though. Our other meals were not (basil pasta, Cuban, chicken tenders). Service was frustratingly slow. And it wasn’t busy.

Great restaurant in every way! Loved the food and service could not have been better. If in Whitefish Bay, go to the Bay!

We had a pleasant visit to the Bay Restaurant. The barbequed pork sandwich was especially popular. I would gladly dine there again.

We enjoyed watching the Bucks game while we dined. They were quite happy in letting us stay at our table and watch the game.

We love the Bay. It is a great place to bring your family or have a date. The food is very good and very consistent. The management is engaged and the service is very good.

We went for appetizers and beverages on the night Pat McCurdy played and had a great time. Wait staff was very accommodating as we had people join our table during the night. The appetizers were good sized servings and very good.

The food was good. Service prompt. Needs a bit more excitement about the place

I like everything about this place....except the noise level.

My wife and I think this is one of the best Fish Frys in the area. In addition to very good fish, you can make reservations and they have very economical ice cream sundae!

Our waitress was outstanding, very attentive. Food was tasty, hot, and served quickly. It was a great experience. I went back a few days later with another friend for another great meal.

Like the small venue . Music was great ! Outstanding service and food.

We were celebrating a birthday and I had noted it on our reservation but it was never acknowledged by staff. Pizza was great burger just OK as it was not cooked medium rare as requested.

We were there on a Saturday night and the place was just starting to fill up. There were people at the bar as well as tables. We were meeting friends and were able to converse very comfortably. I had the Salmon Salad and my husband had a steak. Both meals were excellent. He raved about how good his steak was and how it was done just the way he asked for it. Or friends had ribs, and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. She ordered that without the mushrooms and they were more than willing to accommodate her. His order of ribs looked very good. Our server could not have been more pleasant. We will definitely make this one of our go-to places!

Waitstaff was great, wine - excellent, food was amazing, will be back!

We’d been wanting to try the Bay for awhile. I wish I could say that I’d return, but there are too many great choices for meals and ambiance to return. We had reservations, let the reservationist know we were coming in for a special dinner with friends on their 32 Anniversary. We also spoke with the server when we arrived. Each time, mentioning we wanted to surprise our friends with a desert after the meal, with a candle. The server said, yes! We’ll do that. They didn’t have the desert our friends requested, the server actually came to the table with a lighter lit, saying we can’t find the candles, so happy anniversary. It was very disappointing. We will not return. If your local and it’s close, it’s basic and kid friendly. If you want outstanding service, go somewhere else.

Love Ian Gould. Great entertainment, not too loud. Still able to carry on a conversation. Service friendly.

My date and I ordered a sundae to split for dessert. Our friends ordered a salted caramel dish to share between them. Our waitperson, regretfully, told us there were no more sundaes, so, we ordered the salted caramel dish, as well. She left and came back and told us that the salted caramel was gone, too. It could have been a one time fluke, but, for Saturday night, there should have been an ample supply of everything. We walked to Sendiks and bought some ice cream and found some benches to sit on and enjoy our dessert.

Out with 2 other couples. Ate outside, which we don't often do, but it was very nice. Everyone was happy with their meals and drinks. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I would go back!

Location, service, food options including gf, wine, beer options... are individually and together “A Plus!”

We arrived late in the evening, and they worked hard to make sure that we had a pleasant meal before the kitchen closed.

Wanted to try this place for a long time. The restaurant was interesting but the food was only average.

Great place for on informal dinner with friends. Quite a varied menu with something for everybody. A great dessert bargain...a chocolate sundae for $3.99!

We will return!
