   Customer service was great, nothing was too much trouble. Any issue was resolved immediately. Food was delicious, staff were extremely helpful. We will be recommending and returning. Thank you

   Carvery was luke warm, and meat inedible as so grisly we couldn’t cut it. No one came to table to ask if evening was ok, so took plate back to the carvery and asked for different meat which they did change. No atmosphere in the back room, but have a man playing the piano to an empty room in the front bar!! We did complain at the time that food wasn’t hot. We had attended for a birthday lunch but felt very disappointed, so didn’t stay for dessert which we would normally do.

   Selection of food choices was really good and looked appealing unfortunately and this is a personal preference I wasn’t keen on all the herbs and pepper that was added it made the swede very spicy which I found spoiled it I think the price is a bit high as to your nearest competitors ie farmers arms & the crown at gayton which are both well established but having said that I think everyone should try it out

   We didn’t have a starters but the carvery was brilliant. The deserts on mother’s day were out of this world. Our mother wants to go again this weekend. The price was reasonable but the food was brilliant. Definitely coming back.

   What a treat - welcomed by a pianist in the bar, where we enjoyed a drink by the sunlit windows, before tucking into the Sunday carvery. The carvery was first class, excellent ingredients, beautifully cooked and bursting with flavour - the best carvery we have had (and at a fabulous price too!). We have already booked for next week.

    The food was delicious and plenty of it really lovely We did have to wait fur drinks order was taken quickly but waited 30 mins for drinks to come to table but that was ok and we will book again
