Our beautiful new 350-seat venue offers panoramic views of the mountain ranges and is ideally located on Level 2 of Grand Central Shopping Centre in the heart of Toowoomba. Grab a quite bite and beer while your shopping, or settle in for a big night of Bavarian feasting as you work your way through our mouth-watering menu of schnitzels, pork, sausages and more. At The Bavarian Toowoomba, there are 17 fabulous beers on tap including imported favourites Löwenbräu, Franziskaner, Stiegl and Hofbräu and a large range of house craft beers supplied by Urban Craft Brewing Co, all of which can be enjoyed from one of the restaurant’s renowned 1-litre glass steins. Unfortunately, our dining experience was less than favourable. The pork belly was tough and did not fall apart as expected. The mushroom ragout on the jaeger schnitzel looked more like a sauce of lumpy gravy than a ragout of slow-cooked mushrooms. The sausages were very flavoursome but the chicken schnitzel was dry and unpalatable and the mash lacked a smooth/creamy consistency. The portions were generous but overpriced.
