The Battleground Mexican Kitchen specializes in traditional Mexican food – street tacos, churros, pozole, tamales, mole, empanadas, and other dishes representative of several regions of Mexico. This is not TexMex – every tortilla is handmade to order, the salsas made fresh daily. We also have a full bar serving a variety of cocktails, house margaritas, and Drink Your Values (DYV) beer. DYV sales support organizations working on local community projects. Reservations are recommended, but not required! Amazing Mexican food, cocktails, and craft beer. Come and join us.

    We were there for the live music. Mason was our server and he was fantastic, on top of it. This was my 5th visit and the food is still not that great. Drinks were delicious.

    Exceptional dining experience. Bar service was excellent, dinner service excellent. Nice musical performer. Food plentiful and delicious. Love the Drink Your Values beer collab offerings !!

    One of our favorite places. The outside area is great for dinner this time of the year and the service was outstanding. We had the shredded beef and the Mahi, both were excellent.

    Very good Latino food in a large open room. They have patios too for summer dining. Great spicy margaritas as well as great street tacos. Five different meals and everyone was very happy with the food. This is a cut above the usual Mexican restaurants in Ohio. The waiters said the chef was a perfectionist and you can tell!

    The shrimp tacos and the chicken tacos were absolutely delicious. I would order again. The battleground margarita was fresh and delicious as well. A wonderful neighborhood place to hang out.

    Battleground Mexican Kitchen was an excellent choice for this year's Mother's Day Brunch. All our dishes looked great and full of flavor. The portion sizes were just right. The place is well kept, and staff was polite and friendly.

    This is the best authentic Mexican food. Servers were wonderful and it is always possible to speak to the bar tender about your drink.
