Enjoyed probably the best Sunday lunch we’ve ever had. Everything was delicious, well cooked and piping hot.

The welcome and food superb as always.. Batemans is being continually refurbished to a fresh very high standard so each visit brings a pleasant surprise.. Becoming one of the best country pubs in the area ..

Enjoyed Sunday lunch , however had to send one meal back as the meat was just fat, they sorted this straight away. One off the waitress very miserable. We would definitely be back

Massive portions of perfectly cooked roast dinner, quick and friendly service, reasonably priced - would definitely recommend!

The nicest roast dinner and beer we have had in a long time. A warm, genuine welcome and lovely customer service. We could see what hard work had gone into the pub, they deserve the success.

Nice mother's day lunch. Nice touch that mother's were offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Disappointment that no alternative was offered to mum's that don't drink alcohol. Would have been nice if an alternative was offered.
