   Impeccable service and lovely food. The arancini balls and squid starters were amazing.

   A fabulous pub in a lovely village near to the Thames. Welcoming staff, attentive service, plenty of variety on the menu and delicious food.

   Exceptional service for our Sunday roast... almost too good, if that's possible, because we were asked what to drink before we'd sat down! Very quick through the whole meal, but still good service. Food was variable, because roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding were wonderful, as was the gravy, but roast beef was too chewy and a little tough, and vegetable portions were all small in comparison to other venues. If I went there again, I'd choose the chicken or lamb. Nice ambience. Limited parking.

   Food was v good, staff were really friendly and attentive. Dog friendly which is a big plus for us finding somewhere nice to eat where we can take our well behaved rescue dog. Had a nice chat with manager and chef on way out. Would well recommend.

   This was the first time we have dined here since the refurbishment. We were impressed by the decor and ambience the new owners have created. The beer was good - supplied by a local brewery and the food was not only good but very reasonably priced. As we live in the village we will certainly make a point of supporting the pub in the future.

   A lovely experience. The staff here are a real delight, so friendly, helpful and attentive. Enjoyed the food too.

   Service was quick and very attentive, food was great from a very good menu selection, ambience was very "feel good" we enjoyed a very pleasant evening with no pushing to release our table which is also very refreshing. Overall a brilliant evening...Thanks...WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

    Had a really tasty Sunday lunch, service was good and everyone was very friendly. Would definitely reccomend going.
