This was our first time at The Basin. The bread was quite nice. We were eating early before a show, so only ordered entrees. I like liver - once every 5/10 years. It was perfectly served pink (not overdone) and was melt in the mouth good! My husband's duck was also perfectly served pink - it was wonderful! We both had the sauteed spinach, which was very good. The wait staff as attentive - w/o hovering. And they had black napkins - which always earns brownie points from me!

I had the crab with pasta special and it was fresh and flavorful. My partner had the Bowl of Soul and it was delicious. Caesar salad starter was tasty and they split it for us. The apple pie w house made ice cream was light and excellent. Service was great and the pace and friendliness was appreciated. Will be back!

Bus service was really slow to remove plates. Standard has dropped substantially. Food was exceptional.

This is a great adventure for fine dinning. This is our third adventure to the basin and loved each visit. Good food. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. great place. Would go back again

The Basin has been our go-to for special occasions for years. Their service is always top-notch, as is the food. The focus is on great ingredients and the style is a modern california-style cuisine. We love the mushroom rigatoni and the new york steak, which is gigantic.

Excellent food. Large medallion sized callops and very thick rectangular steak were both awesome. mushroom side dish was also very tasty.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews but and I don’t want to be “negative” here ... all I want to say is : don’t expect much from the food there. Soup of the day was so tasteless and bland thatvafter one spoon I wasn’t even bothering, beet salad the same ( no taste whatsoever) ... fish - totally bland and boring, scallops were okay and one thing that was okay were the shrimps from the appetizer menu ( sauce was good but shrimps were just like you yourself make from the frozen bag ). Bread was really good and super nice service. Ambiance was okay ( but don’t go there for date if You know what I mean. Prices were .... uhmmm - Fair local prices for this kind of restaurant.
Would I go back ? No ... until and unless all other places are closed and I’m starving.

We love your food and the atmosphere. Most of us ordered the Halibut special which was amazing.
We were having dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday and ran into three groups of friends (none of whom live in town) who were having dinner. That's a testament to how great this place is. Can't wait to return!

Second time at the Basin. Loved it so much the first time I couldn’t wait to return. Beautiful, warm atmosphere. Appreciated that we were seated in the back room where it is a bit quieter. Food was amazing and each starter was so good we all had to share. I high recommend the truffle fries. Great service and overall evening.
