   Music was great and service was impeccable. The cucumber jalapeño margarita was also excellent. The food, however, is below average, and they need to remodel their patio. The chairs are old and sticky with cushions peeling. If they would up their game just a little bit, this could be a true destination for FM, Denton, Argyle, etc.

   We have been here numerous times and have always loved the food and ambience! But, last night, the food was very average at best. We were disappointed in the quality of our meals and the menu choices. Hoping this was just an off night for them.

    Good food and good music. Rustic and interesting atmosphere. Our server was outstanding. We came for our daughter's 45th birthday and she enjoyed it thoroughly. High end steakhouse quality with a casual atmosphere.

    Their Wagyu menu items are incredible and they have a full range of reasonably priced options for everyone. Always have top quality bands on Friday and Saturday. A true Texas treasure.

    Found this little gem recently because some friends of ours were playing there. Came expecting great music & decent bar food-but were so pleasantly surprised!!! The Wagyu house burger was great, and the short ribs were the best I have ever had!!! The service was great, too!!! We will definitely make the trek back there!! I highly recommend!!!

    1st time dining. Was put off by $30 cover charge after spending $188 + tip on dinner - I feel like this this should have been noted when making reservations in Open Table. Yes, there was a band - however, having never been there before we had no idea there would be live music or a cover charge and were simply trying a new spot for dinner. I understand a cover charge for guests who are taking a table/seat and only having drinks but wasn’t expecting to be charged cover just to have dinner there. Food was excellent, I enjoyed the Red Fish special and husband had a filet. Our boys had the St. Louis Ribs and they weren’t fans of them - but they’re kids and can be picky. Service was lacking from our waitress,but they were visibly very busy. She forgot my husband’s salad and we had to ask for drink refills. Didn’t check on us once we had our food. The chef was very friendly and engaging and had greeted us when we walked in. We’d return for a date night dinner without the kids, and when there’s not a band playing. And also to enjoy the live music with cocktails sans dinner on another night. The atmosphere is much too loud to try to have dinner and talk to each other at the same time.

    We showed up for a dinner reservation on our way home from the airport. Was surprised that we were charged a cover charge for a band that started playing while we were finishing up. No one said anything- just added $24 to our bill. The band was good… I just would’ve appreciated a heads up- maybe we would’ve hung out longer for drinks.

    Burger was over cooked so that was disappointing …and it was small not a nice thick juicy burger at all Breakfast sandwich had way too much chorizo so hardly tasted the egg So overall just ok

    Ordered breakfast entree without peppers, server said no problem. Entree came with EXTRA peppers, nearly the entire entree was peppers. Picked all of them out server came over to check on us, saw the pile peppers, never said a word. Bacon was nearly raw, pastrami was so fatty that it was a waste. Overall, way over priced for subpar experience.

    What an extremely hit or miss dining experience with the food. My husband was happy with his choices- the spinach salad had a nice balsamic glaze and was balanced. He had the Reuben sandwich which was very good and the fries were lackluster but edible. I was not so lucky- the garden salad must have had issues with the dressing as the salad was so salty it was inedible. I tried to bring this to the waitress’s attention but she was so busy they just cleared it away. We finally got our entrees 1.25 hours after we arrived and my frito chili pie had candied jalapeños on it which I had clearly told the waitress no jalapeños. I decided I was just going to pick them off as I was hungry, but they left a bunch of sugary spots on the chili which made it a very unpleasant entree. The cheese was cold and congealed under the chili and it was just disappointing for $17. The waitress noticed me picking them off and told me the ‘kitchen was a busy mess back there’ and made no effort to make anything right. I did enjoy the Moscow Mule and that they allow for several choices of vodka in the drink. Nice ginger flavor. Also beware they have mandatory cover charges even if you are trying to dine before the band starts. We had a limited time due to the babysitter and needed to be home but still paid $30 for 3 songs we didn’t want to listen to.

    More a bar than a restaurant. Food seems overpriced. The short ribs came out cold and were extremely fatty. The stir fried steak was ok but nothing to write home about. $17 for a glass of wine seems very high considering that you are in a diner/bar rather than a 5 star restaurant.

    What an incredible steak sandwich! And those fries!!!!! My son had the brisket and enjoyed it as well. I love the rural atmosphere (in Michigan we would call it Up North feel). We were headed there before a movie so we didn’t get to stay for the music. Next time!

    New years event not clearly planned multiple ticket levels and discrepancies between the time posted online and the reservation system. Difficult to get questions answered when contacting the establishment before hand. Was never offered appetizers as that was what was included in the tickets purchased
