Only gripe is that the serves were small and after paying $50 for a main course we left feeling hungry.

Matthew (head concierge) and Tim (I think-waiter) we absolutely delightful, excellent service and took time to converse.

A perfect spot for dinner ahead of a play. Well run to handle a surge of us folks wanting a full restaurant meal, but be out for the play at 7:30. Food and wine was good, service was excellent, and although there was room for us on only a high stool, high table on the side, was still comfortable, enough space, and actually easier to view the 'theatre' in the restaurant itsef as it filled up, we all had our meals, and then in quite a burst all left for the show(s) in the rest of the building.

Great food offering. A clear and simple menu with a good variety of tastes and options. Very good friendly service, as always - swift, courteous and accommodating. Great for pre-theater.

The Barre is a great spot to dine pre-theatre at the Arts Centre. Staff are welcoming and attentive and even though they were very busy yesterday evening, we were served in good time. Food was lovely but there could be more vegetarian options please!

It's always a great experience at The Barre, whether just for a drink / happy hour cocktail, or food or both (oysters are always my favourite!) Service is nothing but outstanding, as is the ambience and location. A happy return customer.

We shared 2 small plates and 3 sides and the pear tiramisu!! Very unusual and all were delicious!!
