   Been to the Barn a few times now and would absolutely recommend it. The food is amazing and the service and atmosphere is also fantastic. Thank you very much.

   Having visited the Barn 4 times last year and I was always amazed at how good the food was...today was a big let down . I was sad when I read they are closing...but after today I'm not surprised. I had the Vegan Sunday Roast: Cold food ( they offered to heat it up, but I dont like microwaved food ) Tough undercooked ( raw) veg No stuffing 3 tiny roast potatoes that tasted shop bought No ' meats'...just shop bought sausages. Small portion (I'm not big eater...but came home and made toast ) Very dissapointing...I'm just glad I wasnt trying to impress friends with how good a Vegan Roast can be as I would of failed.

   The roast dinner was fabulous. My only criticism is the wait of over an hour, so they really need to improve on time to serve tables. Other than this, we had a very enjoyable meal and it was the perfect place for my son to celebrate his birthday (it was full of dogs!).

   Surprisingly empty until we read the menu. Very little choice. Hardly any body in there. Very dated and run down. Not a patch on what it once was. Very disappointed.

   Excellent quality vegan roast. Generous portion too. Our servers were friendly and attentive, and my wife was treated to a complimentary glass of wine for her big birthday. Overall great value in lovely surroundings.

   Nice vegan food and plenty filling the Sunday roast was excellent and the steak alternative was very good with plenty of veg

   Visited again since changes to management, some initial confusion over confirming table booking, pleasant waiting staff. Though 30 min wait for drinks to table and an hour wait for food after asking how much longer it would be just wasn't acceptable. It wasn't that busy in the restaurant either, only a few tables taken either with lots of staff milling around so that didn't make sense. The food was well presented when it did arrive and very tasty with a nice selection of veggies though Yorkshire puds were very doughy and leeks undercooked. There wasn't the presence of any organisation or lead manager to keep things on track and scruffy areas going into the barn plus the entrance foyer with half put together refill stations for dry pulses etc. Unsure if that offering is still on the cards now Sarah has left the helm. We're unlikely to return sadly, it used to be a lively place and lots of events & stuff going on, a more buzzing enjoyable venue. Needs more ambience and customer welcome.

    I can't big this place up enough. I booked a table for myself and my partner only hours prior to coming down as she needed a little treat. She's had such a tough time recently and this us her fave place to go. I had let the restaurant know if they could do anything romantic or otherwise for her I would appreciate it greatly and they absolutely did. Great music playing, lovely big table, flowers and candles for her. Which we got to take home with us! I couldn't have asked for more and it really made her day having a little bit of a fuss made for her. I really can't thank you guys enough for making it special for her. The guy behind the bar who served us couldn't do enough for us, he was absolutely lovely! Absolutely would recommend this place to anyone, vegan or otherwise as the food is always brilliant, everytime we have visited. And don't even get me started on the vegan carvery, it is to die for. Love love love it here and the bonus is, we can bring our dog! Can't wait to visit again. Thankyou everyone who works there, you always make it wonderful 😊😊😊😊😊😊
