Staff were friend to and helpful but left a long time waiting on food and only asked re drinks twice during the 2.5 hours we were there. Left pretty thirsty. Food was good, great menu. Atmosphere good as ever just a shame re the service. Probably wouldn’t come back on a weekend night for fear of similar result.

The price for the meal was also very moderate for the serving - very cost effective! Would recommend it to any traveller. Could do without the television! Very friendly and attentive service.

                                                                                                                                                We had a lovely dinner here on New Years eve (31/12) good steak and i had a traditional turkey meal which was very nice. Also great cocktails and desserts. Last but not least they handled my daughters nut-allergy very well.

Two of the servings came out cooler than they should have been, the problem was resolved quickly and an adjustment to our bill was made.
