    We ordered two bowls of clam chowder and a lobster roll. It took almost an hour to come. All of it was lukewarm. It came with truffle fries which were cold. When told our server and asked for fresh hot fries she copped an attitude. She did order the fries but charged us for it. Overall the food and service was bad. It is sad because we chose this restaurant because of the reviews. It was rated number one for the clam chowder but what we were served far from it.

    They essentially did not honor our reservation. Reserved Jazz Brunch at 1:30pm. Checked in at 1:07 and was told we would be seated much later because there was a "long wait". What? Told we would maybe get seated by 2pm and they would call us when ready. We were also told we could feel free to go elsewhere and since we checked in, we wouldn't be charged for a cancelled reservation. Huh? Instead, we walked around town and returned at 2pm having not been called. They then tried to seat us in the 1st floor corner (Jazz brunch was upstairs and no jazz could be heard on the 1st floor). Asked the hostess seating us if there were tables available upstairs for what we reserved and she left us standing in the middle of the dining area to go "check". Did not return and only after we walked back over to the hostess station to inquire apologized for "forgetting" about us and offered the same 1st floor table. We left. We had driven into the city 45 minutes for this on Mother's Day with two kids 6 and 8. Kind of shocking how bad this was, even when some hiccups can be expected on Mother's Day.

    We had a 45 minute wait upon arrival which would have been longer had we not flagged down a manager. Note: we had a reservation and arrived on time. The front desk folks seemed overwhelmed and told us they were behind, however did not indicate that we’d be waiting close to an hour. To make matters worse, the delivery of food once seated was incredibly slow and the food was terrible. My wife’s steak had quite a bit of fat, my potato’s were rock hard and the food wasn’t hot. It seemed like the food had been sitting out for a while. Great spot location wise, but disappointing for everything else. Given the almost $400 bill for 3 people (2 adults, 1 child), we will NOT be back.

    I was seated almost an hour late at no point was any effort made to offer us a drink or an appetizer. When seated the food service was also very slow, a basic lunch took 2 and half hours.

    The hostess was incredibly rude and condescending which caused the start of our experience off on the wrong foot. We booked a reservation a month ago for Mother’s Day and when we got there we were told that it would take “a very long time for our table” with no exact time. Mind you reservation was at 1, and we didn’t get seated until closer to 2pm. Understand that things happens but the hostess did not have a positive attitude and I’ve never gone to any restaurant where I was so turned off by the hostesses tone it made me want to leave as soon as I got there. And when we inquired about our table 35 mins into waiting (because we were given NO time frame) she was snappy and said well I offered you this table that was literally right by the door where everyone walked in and not part of the jazz brunch. I just don’t appreciate the tone if you work in front of house even under stress try to have a positive attitude and be polite.

    We were there for Mother’s Day brunch and the experience was terrible. When we checked in, the hostess told us that they were running 45 minutes behind reservation times because the diners weren’t leaving. In the end it was because they were overbooked and understaffed. She told us she would call us when table was ready. She never called. We waited downstairs with everyone else which became overcrowded with everyone on top of each other. The first table we were brought to wasn’t cleared. By the time we sat and got food 1:45 elapsed. Waiter forgot one of our drinks. Food was not hot. Waiter refused to give us a regular menu even though we expressed allergy concerns and discussed with restaurant earlier in the week this situation. Allergy information wasn’t passed to waiter who then blamed the hostess. They filled our water glasses once we sat and 1 hour later. Valet situation was bad to the point that we parked elsewhere. They advertised this as a jazz brunch but we were seated by the kitchen and couldn’t hear it. This was a waste of money and time.

    A terrible experience reservation but still waited for half hour to get seated Waited for an hour for oysters once ordered. Then it got worse. 4 hours later got lobster rolls that were under heat lamp. One of us didn’t get entree until sent up to manager. Embarrassing for mothers —never again. Sorry doesn’t make up for complete failure —also an electric guitar and bass isn’t jazz brunch. Don’t go.

    Mothers Day Brunch, so I get it that that it is busy....but we arrived at 12:25 for a 12:30 reservation and are told it would be a thirty minute wait...40 minutes later we inquire as to how much longer and the hostess was NOT helpful at all and was indignant that we expressed concern over the 40 minute delay. What is the point in making a reservation in the first place???? Once we were seated, 45 minutes after the reserved time slot, the food and service was good.

    I went today for Mother’s Day prefix jazz brunch. The food was good, but the prefix menu was expensive for some of the items that would’ve been cheaper to order alone on their regular brunch menu . My biggest disappointment was having a reservation at 12 PM and not being seated until 12:51 PM. Wish it was more jazz like atmosphere. Would’ve felt the same with just jazz music playing with the music player.
