Located in the heart of the city The Bank on Collins is the perfect location for lunch, dinner or after work drinks. Appealing to the corporate community The Bank offers a modern Australian pub menu with an express lunch option for those on the go.

This iconic Melbourne building was built in 1876 from New Zealand Omaru stone with ornate metal balustrades. Originally home to The Bank of Australasia the site is now heritage listed with the Australian Heritage Commission and the National Trust of Australia.
Now, the upstairs of the building is home to the Treasury on Collins accommodation facilities.

The Bank on Collins is also suitable for corporate gatherings, celebrations and weddings. The floor plan is versatile to accommodate any style of event, catering up to 300 people for a cocktail party.

Really good with allergens. They have gluten free parma options, and plant based schnitzel options.

I would have provided high scores but the fact that there was no split bills knowing it was a lunchtime team lunch was a little disappointing given everyone ordered off the $28 express menu and it wouldn't have been a messy bill to co-ordinate. I think this would limit our return visit given this un-flexible payment terms - thanks Sharon

Second time having the early bird dinner. Top quality food which is great value. Staff are very attentive and friendly.

A must when you visit Melbourne. Great building, great staff and great food. Would certainly recommend the slow cooked beef cheek. Gorgeous!

They were very flexible with my booking. The beef cheeks were to die for😋. The service was excellent and I love eating there.

Friendly staff, furnitures are comfortable especially heights difference between table and seating. Ambience was acceptable divided between the noisy bar and dining area. Had the steak was well done (wonder how’d they know what I wanted before asking).

I love this restaurant - the atmosphere and history of the building itself is prominent as soon as you walk in. Staff were friendly and attentive, food was great and off course, company was fabulous!

The food and atmosphere was really nice, it just took quite a while to receive our food and the service staff were unsure which table had which order. It was Valentines Day, so busy but not fully booked out, and it seemed there were only 3 table staff to take orders and serve food for the whole venue.

Rude host who made us wait to get our table as we were 2 minutes early. Table not ready and had to wait 15 minutes. Food and service were ok not great.
