Located in the heart of the city The Bank on Collins is the perfect location for lunch, dinner or after work drinks. Appealing to the corporate community The Bank offers a modern Australian pub menu with an express lunch option for those on the go.

This iconic Melbourne building was built in 1876 from New Zealand Omaru stone with ornate metal balustrades. Originally home to The Bank of Australasia the site is now heritage listed with the Australian Heritage Commission and the National Trust of Australia.
Now, the upstairs of the building is home to the Treasury on Collins accommodation facilities.

The Bank on Collins is also suitable for corporate gatherings, celebrations and weddings. The floor plan is versatile to accommodate any style of event, catering up to 300 people for a cocktail party.

Far too few staff for the venue size. Waited half an hour (including reminders) before even a drinks order was taken. Then another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. This was a Friday lunchtime and the restaurant was quite full but not completely. Food was fine and staff friendly but never going back.

We have stayed at the treasury on collins over the past 5 years and have always wanted to try the Bank on Collins and finally have and it did not disappoint. Great value for money. Large serve. Bonus wine with our meal. Had to be the best Parma I have ever had. Thick and juicy. Would definately be booking again on our next stay. We'll done.

Was a nice venue but could do with some uplift keeping its historical feel (if allowed). Noise echoes but tables are far enough away you can hear each other. Wine and chicken Snitzel were good value on the express lunch deal.
