   Loved it.....will consider bringing other family members next year. FANTASTIC food and service. We stayed the night and found the entire experience wonderful. Thankyou to all the great staff for working on Christmas day

   It was a shame that i wasn't told i would be sharing a table with strangers if i was told i would not have gone there.But in saying that everything else was fantastic i have told my family how good the food and drinks were and we are now considering going there as a family for next year

   Think the event would of been better if don entry we was told how things work ie you can leave your plate on the table and get another plate for next course. The food was delicious the only thing i would of liked was a pot of gravy to go over the turkey and would of been good to have the potatoes near the meats. We didnt even know where the deserts were , good job i had to go to the ladies, they would of been better if smaller portions like the pav and cheesecake . Drink waiters were terrbile we sat for 15 mins not knowing where to get a drink from , and we had to get a waiters attention , we expected at the price we payed for waiters walking around filling water up and offering drinks all the time. Then early on you ran uot of the beer my son drank. Overall we was full when we left but very disapointed so much money for lunch and yiu have to sit waitiing for so long to get a drink , and not told what happens. We wont be coming back for xmas lunch, we have eaten and stayed at the hotel before and was very happy. Was so dissapointing.

   We had Xmas lunch in the Ballroom, this was an amazing exprience. We could not fault anything, the food was delicious and fresh and never seemed to run out of anything. The staff were amazing and for Xmas day they had plenty of staff working. The Manager in the Ballroom on the day (I have forgotten her name) but she was excellent, she was going around to all the tables and making sure everyone was happy. She came to our table 3 times, very impressed. We did not have children with us but they had a Father Christmas come in and talk to all the children and gave them a present each, we thought this was a lovely touch. We will definitely have Xmas here again. We have had Xmas lunch in other restaurants and paid around the same price but this was way above in quality and service.
