The Balcony Las Olas
We had a great time at the Balcony. It was loud because it was a Florida Gator game and the crowd was there! We had mostly small plates and service and food were great - including dessert! Recommend!
Concept change to a Pub with English style pub menu & sports TV. Okay just not what we expected.
We went because the website offered a live music Sunday brunch. There wasn't one. The service was good, the order was wrong initially and then corrected. The atmosphere was non-existent. Perhaps this place is great at other times, but I would not recommend the Sunday brunch to anyone.
Very disappointing. They changed the name and cuisine without updating their website. No longer New Orleans cuisine or atmosphere. Now just a pub.
It was our annual “cousin” reunion. We get together for drinks, food, and discuss our travels and experiences. Tonight was extra special as I was able to let them know I am expecting so next years will be different. All in all a wonderful experience with our server who was attentive and did not rush us. Appetizers were great, but very small portions. Drinks (for my girls) were updated and delicious. Great ambiance!
This was our first time at the Balcony but it will definitely not be the last! Briana our server was attentive, informative and fun. Would definitely recommend asking for her.
We had a table overlooking the road and the ambiance and décor was bright and clean. Remember to save some pace for the beignets and three dipping sauces.
Ceviche was amazing. gumbo is a must , friendly staff. will definitely return again soon.
i went there around 6 pm on a hot summer friday evening. the fod was ok but my cocktail did not have enough flavor of vodka in it and the server said it was guaranteed to have alcohol. so there is no refund or topping off. the place was empty but the server was not very attentive like you would expect being the only customers there. my only complaint in the end is that i was here before and the menu had more cajun specialties. maybe it was a minimized summer menu. after all i was here for bastille day, and chose to eat there for french heritage.
The food was good, but service was GREAT! Our waiter, Barry, went above and beyond. He definitely made our brunch experience a fantastic one.
Great Service, excellent ambiance. The food at Brunch was really good - portion sizes a little small compared to other places in Las Olas, still a great experience
Service was terrible even though their place was basically empty. Food was very good though and nice location.
First of all our waiter informed us that within a couple of weeks the restaurant is changing genres and will become a sports bar. Too bad because I was really looking forward to going to a real Cajun restaurant. They did not even have jambalaya on the menu. The waiter was really nice but I ordered spring rolls and what he handed me and told me was my spring rolls was actually dumplings. This could be a really good place but somebody has obviously screwed up the marketing. The food is just average +.
I would recommend it, really liked the decor but the food was a bit lacking. My husband had the shrimp po boy it was something i would get at a sandwich shop and the salad I had was way too oily the ahi tuna i believe it was. Not sure I will go back for dinner again
It was a pleasure to meet Paige. She was our Server and we just loved her positive, bubbly personality and always smiling. I work as a Store Manager and I was very impressed that she was very kind, patient, and excellent with suggestions. Kudos to her for knowing how to assist patrons and make sure they are enjoying their time at The Balcony.
We had a great time, Emily took amazing care of us!
Went because advertised live music. There was no live music that night. My husband had the steak which he said was good. My fish was not properly cooked. Threw me off. Maybe was a wrong night
Our service was amazing the girls who served us did a very good job in making sure we always had our cups full and the food came out quick my friends and I are definitely going back soon
Perfect spot for brunch! Although it was pouring rain, we sat at rooftop balcony bar and loved it! Bar tender/waiter was great and attentive! Definitely recommend!
Ridiculous experience with all things related to liquor. Last time I was here it was a service issue. We left after 2 appetizers and some cocktails for $220.
Shared experience on Yelp.
Won’t return a 3rd time. That’s sad because I love the food but both experiences were just absurd in different ways.
It was great. We came at a not busy time but was great. We chatted while waiting and the food was great! I put a note to see if they could do a cake for congratulations as my son is graduating high school. They did one better and put the words on a plate with a cup of beignets with a candle! I would recommend going there. The late night on the balcony is so fun!
The balcony was very helpful with accommodating our large group of 12 friends. They assigned us 2 waitresses who ensured our glasses were full and that we had everything we needed. They had good food and a great atmosphere!
My server was great. And our food came out really fast . The restraint and the ambiance was GREAT. Also. They gave us a free dessert and it was to die for. I will definitely be going back.
Great Ambiance! Food was great!
We chose the Balcony for the music vibe and atmosphere. DEFinitely lives up to that aspect! Enjoyed the decor, the live band was awesome!
Our server was very nice, gracious and pleasant. We had the Galliet House breakfast. It was a decent portion but for $16 each, we could have had two portions at a breakfast place. The portion of scrambled eggs truly looked pitiful. The food was cooked well and tasted good but I believed a price point of $10-$12 would have been more in line with the actual portion of food. Especially for brunch, as it was plated. Thankfully I wasn’t starving but fair warning, if your preference to start your day with a decent size breakfast, this is average size. Don’t come here starving.
The restaurant is a great addition to that area with the upstairs open air bar balcony. I’m certain it’s fantastic at night! It was clean and well kept and well appointed.
I would go back for dinner, different menu and different value proposition.
We really enjoyed our visit to the Balcony. We went to see the Breeze classic rock band, which was great. We got there early for dinner. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. We started with Caesar salad and gumbo, which were delicious. We ordered salmon for dinner, and it was exceptional! We loved everything about the restaurant, although it was pricey.
We were there on a quiet Monday, but the service was very good and the food was exceptional. Everyone in the party said they would definitely come back. The upstairs balcony was getting quite festive once we were leaving for the evening.
It was a Awesome experience! The restaurant is beautiful and the service is great. I will be back to enjoy with my husband.
Another party was greeted and seated before us when we were standing at the hostess table before them. Once we made that aware to the hostess she just said "I'll be right with you".
Food was ok. Music was good. Waitress service was average at best.
The food is bland.
We were a little disappointed as the music that we came to see was not playing during the week any longer. Friday and Sat only. Food was OK but the crab cakes were made to fine for my liking. The coconut shrimp were excellent.
Loved the experience! Would love to sit closer to the music next time. They were great! Keep singing Lauryn hill
Great service. Great food. Nice place for brunch with outdoor patio. Would definitely go again.
The Balcony is a great spot. Been there several times before but first time sitting downstairs for brunch. Definitely a place to explore either in the day or in the evening.
made reservation for noon. arrived at restaurant, it was closed
Great place for cajun inspired menus! The live band was awesome. Can get very warm though...
This was our first and last time there. The food was just good. The price was way out of line for the food we ate. I would not recommend this place
Nice place, and the food was good. They had a big party in the upstairs area, but you would not have know it from the bottom floor. Overall, at the time, it was party place upstairs and quite at the bottom, with very good food and service.
It was our first time there. We went for Sunday Brunch. We sat upstairs. Vince took great care of us. He explained the menu and made suggestions. My husband had the Coconut Crusted French Toast with Pineapple compote, which he loved. I had a dozen oysters and the seasonal berry crepes. Can’t forget the bottomless Mimosas🍾
Lunch was very good and service was excellent.
The Ahi Tuna is delicious
