The young chap who served us on the day was great. Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The food however wasn't very good at all. We had not realised that there was a Father's day menu when booking. So all had a roast. The potatoes and Yorkshire puddings were really overcooked, and I had the 3meats option, which came completely covered in a honey mustard sauce. Can you please put the veg onto a platter so people can only put on the plate food that they like?? Sauces should be at the discretion of the customer and not the chef. So disappointed.

Great experience on Fathers Day. Staff couldn't do enough to help our visit go well . Free beer for the Dads and some lovely sourdough and oil to immediately nibble.The roast and fish and chips got the thumbs up from all . Generous portions so no room for puds .

We had a truly wonderful dining experience this evening. From start to finish, everything was nothing short of exceptional. The food was beautifully presented, rich in flavour, and perfectly cooked — a real testament to the talent and creativity of Caz in the kitchen. Caz even took the time to come out and go through the menu with us in detail, addressing all of our allergens and making sure we felt comfortable and well-informed about our choices. The service was equally impressive; Ben made sure we were warmly welcomed, comfortable, and well looked after all evening. His friendly, attentive approach really added a personal touch to our visit. It’s clear that great care and consideration go into every aspect of the restaurant, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special dining experience.

As a relatively regular visitor, went for Sunday Lunch. Slight disappointment with the selection of roast options - only beef and gammon. The guys did explain this was to change it for the summer menu but felt it was pretty limited. Service was great though and location is a fantastic place for a post dinner walk by the Meon.

Met up with three old colleagues for leisurely lunch. Not hurried by waitress, food was good and reasonably priced. We were only ones there 12:00 but filled up to 60% by 1:00.

The Sunday lunch with mushroom tart was incredible. The vegetables were really nice and not just treated as an accompaniment.

Enjoyed a lovely family meal here at Easter. Delicious roasts enjoyed by all with the nicest vegetables to accompany. Everyone agreed the best we’ve eaten anywhere and great value for money. Really pretty venue, nice atmosphere and staff. Thanks guys!

Food was absolutely excellent. We have given a moderate score for service because we waited a long time for our food because there was a huge table in at the same time. The staff were working really hard, and were very nice, but it felt like there wasn’t enough capacity in the kitchen at the time. Very understandable. We really enjoyed our food when it did arrive, but we didn’t stay for puddings because we didn’t have time.
