We had a lovely Sunday lunch .Best one in a long time .
Really interesting menu including fresh local produce, all very nicely cooked and presented.
Lovely lunch menu with some really nice touches to each dish. Everything was really tasty and well presented. Service was excellent - the team obviously really care about every diner having a good experience. The desserts were a particular show piece - tasted every bit as amazing as they looked. Will definitely go back!
I don’t have a bad word to say about the Bailiwick. The team are just lovely, they never forget a face and the food is incredible - it really is great value for the quality they’re delivering. A proper, cosy English pub (although tables aren’t on top of each other), right on the edge of Windsor Great Park, perfect for a pit stop on a walk for Sunday roast and a drink.
Very nice food and great service. Looking forward to going again.
Fantastic food, fabulous service and a lovely ambience! We will definitely be coming back again soon!
Superb food. Sadly some staff members not terribly helpful or sympathetic to customers needs.
Great venue, wonderful service and fantastic food
Enjoyed a wonderful Sunday lunch family at Bailiwick Free House. The service was outstanding and the food was incredible.
Fanstastic food, great service. Lovely Sunday lunch.
Fantastic food and brilliant service. A real joy to see this pub back in action with such a brilliant team. Can’t wait to go back.
The food was outstanding with a very interesting menu and reasonable prices for food of this quality. There was a good selection of wine by the glass and by the carafe, and the main wine list was also quite reasonably priced.
We had an amazing evening here - food was exquisite - wait staff were so helpful and friendly - cannot wait to come back
What a wonderful find! The welcome was warm, the staff so friendly and funny. The food was outstanding! All four of us loved each dish we had. We will definitely be coming back.
Lovely food in an outwardly unprepossessing pub. Terrific gastropub serving home cooked food. Lovely knowledgeable staff. Food came very quickly. Very much recommended. We will be back
Enjoyable food, nice atmosphere. Only criticism, and minor at that, was that it took a while to be asked for our order.
A really lovely girls lunch. Food was amazing!
Good food, good service, good time.
I’ll be back.
Wonderful experience, we haven’t been for years and we were so glad we returned, every single element of our visit was exceptional.
Special thank you to Liam.
The location and parking was not easy.
The refurbishment created a going overall impression "gastro pub". However noise reverberation from the lack of soft furnishings made hearing difficult. The Menu descriptions and portion sizes caused some issues for 2 of our party due to ref to smoked salmon as salmon. The pricing of Desserts at £10.00 is too high. Close to Savill Gardens was a good point.
Fantastic food, wonderful setting and Liam and the team were brilliant!
Thank you so much for making our lunch so special.
Excellent all round. Will certainly return regularly if standards of food and service remain the same. Well done to the team.
Loved the ambiance and would definitely go back. Service was a bit too slow and we waited a long time for our meal even though it wasn’t busy.
Fab restaurant. The only thing I would say is that my sons lamb was very fatty. He couldn’t eat much of it. It wasn’t as tender as the waitress has said it was. My fish was excellent as was my other sons venison. Will go back for sure. Thank you
We were celebrating my husband's birthday. All of our food was excellent and they provided excellent choices for one of our party who required gluten free and dairy free food.
Simply fabulous! From the moment we stepped in the door we felt as if nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was full to the brim, but the staff were wonderfully attentive, connected with our needs, and very funny! The food was utterly superb and incredibly good value - although we did push out the boat as it was a special occasion with lots of extras. We will definitely be back and this will become the regular destination we've so desperately needed in the local area. Bravo!
After reading about Steven & Ami's culinary skills in a few articles I decided on taking my partner for her birthday to the Bailiwick and I can hand on heart say that neither of us were disappointed!
We were welcomed by such a nice man who gave us a windows seat and made sure we were well looked after during our meal.
Speaking of which (and as we had traveled all the way from Evesham) we decided to have a selection of sides with our three course meal consisting of the following..
- Smoked Haddock Scotch Egg
- Corned Beef
- Beef Wellington (Special)
- Chunky Chips
- Truffle Mac & Cheese
- Broccoli With Garlic & Chilli
- Chocolate Delice
- Apple and Cinnamon Doughnuts, Toffee Sauce and Vanilla Ice-Cream
PLUS a little something extra from the kitchen which I wont give away ;)
Without holding back..... WOW!!!! Just WOW!!! Every dish was meticulously prepared and laid out. Each dish was a sight to behold. You could really see the amount of love that the chefs put in to each dish and equally this showed in the taste sensation that erupted in every bite! I jest not, you just have to try the food here. It is out of this world. But, what makes this even more impressive is the price.
I cannot fault anything from our visit to the Bailiwick and look forward very much to coming back again soon.
I would also like to thank all of the waiting staff and the 'behind the scenes' kitchen team for a truly exceptional experience. You should be very proud of yourselves with what you have here.
I will most definitely be recommending you too friends and I look forward to our next visit.
no kids menu
Expensive especially drinks prices
The lunch menu includes what is probably the best burger I’ve ever tasted, and a range of other delicious options.
The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly and professional.
The Bailiwick is well worth a detour to go and visit.
Excellent food and excellent service, we will definitely be back.
Our waitress was one of the best we've ever had. She was simply amazing. The South African woman that lives on a barge on the Thames. Her recommendations were spot on. She was friendly and chatty but didn't overdo it and her attention to detail was perfect!
Excellent food, service and ambiance, will go again soon.
Great place; great food; wonderful people!
Had a wonderful meal, everything was perfect
Wonderful meal and service amazing we will be back
Quite possibly the best dining experience we have ever had. Incredible standards and delivery in all areas.
Had a fantastic evening, really lovely food in fact one of the best meals that we have had, very friendly professional and attentive staff that were so helpful which made it a really lovely evening and will definitely be eating here again
Food was fantastic and great value for money. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Liam and Liz were friendly and very knowledgeable.
Lovely food, but if have a big appetite you would need to tip up with the sides.
Lunch in the open air overlooking the Royal Estate. Really interesting food choices - snacks, mains and desserts from lunch menu. Loved the charcoal bread.
Dog friendly, my large GR settled immediately.
Outside area very limited in size but understand inside is very attractive.
Professional service all round.
Will be returning.
