We love the Avenue. One of our favorite spots but yesterday was off. It was my Mom, Brother and I. We ordered (2) Cheeseburger and chicken sandwich. Took nearly 45 mins for our order to come out. We had to ask for bread (may be a brunch thing) but it wasn't busy at all but still took longer then usual to get our food. The cheeseburgers didn't taste like they normally do. The chicken sandwich was good though.

Very loud inside and rib-eye steak was over cooked. Ordered medium rare and it came back medium. Was hoping for a quieter, more elegant dining experience.

Matthew, our server, went above and beyond for us. He anticipated all of our needs and followed through without hesitation. The food was excellent, as always, and we had a wonderful dining experience. We highly recommend The Avenue, and if you are lucky enough to have Matthew as a server, you will not be disappointed.

Had a nice time with friends for dinner. Food was very good, but can't say it was outstanding. Service was pleasant and efficient. A little loud, but since we were a small group we could mostly hear our conversation. A larger group would have had a harder time.

We love the Avenue . Tonight, though the steaks were not good and over cooked. We told waitress but we were all eating and didn’t want another steak. Too late. The manager came over and said she took off 1 steak . Ok, thanks about 10-15ins later they brought over two new steaks which we told them we did t want. It was strange. We had been eating and couldn’t possibly eat another steak. Not sure what happened here. Everything else was great and we would go back. What was disappointing was they never took off the steak when we got the bill. I mean cmon… :) it’s an overall great place. Will go back

4 adults for Happy our on a Friday. The food was good and what we were looking for. Service was a bit slow but possible our server had tables inside as well as on the patio. I will return for Happy Hour!

We love the Avenue - have not found a better filet in town. We all had different meals, filet, chicken sandwich, tar tar app, fish special, lobster tail, etc. Everybody enjoyed their meals and service was very good. The only issue I had was the tilapia special with shrimp. 3 very tiny shrimp and piece of fish I could swear was cod or haddock - never seen tilapia that thick, almost an inch or more. I've ordered the tilapia a dozen times at Oscars and it never looked like this one at the Avenue

Food was wonderful. We made reservations and noted birthday celebration. We were seated all the way in the back of restaurant at the kitchen entrance and exit. Our waiter never offered drink refills and we were seldom visited by him. Not sure if his tables were far apart, if it’s because we didn’t order alcohol, or what. Below expectations for such a high priced experience. No plans to return.
