Food is great. Atmosphere is nice. Sue is an excellent server.
Our server, Sue, was outstanding. She made us feel right at home. The salmon and scallop, shrimp, risotto dishes were very good. Pints of pumpkin ale and porter enjoyable.
Great food selection. The tuna and salmon entrees are excellent. Great beer selection as well. The servers (Jodie was our server) are super friendly and welcoming. Great restaurant down the shore.
Great place-- service and food excellent. So glad it is open all year. We enjoy the beach all year long and having a great place to relax and dine serves us well!
We sat at the bar and waited for another couple that was joining us. Iris at the bar was super friendly and let us try out some of the beers. She also gave us a little tour of some of the facility rooms. The ICONA is beautiful!! Our dinner was amazing!! We will definitely be back.
Really enjoyed our meal and service was great!
We have been regular customers of the Avalon brew pub since it opened. The salmon entrée was one of my favorites served over risotto. The salmon was flavorful and moist. They changed the dish to smoked paprika salmon served with black rice and I’ve ordered it twice now and it has absolutely no real flavor and was dry. We brought two couples this time and had talked it up and were all unsatisfied. I would highly recommend changing the dish.
The Caesar salad is generous and good. Fish tacos were also average. I will probably not be back unless the menu changes.
We had a nice time. Great food and we loved the wine special. The wine was fabulous. Our waiter was so nice and so good at his job. Would go back in a heartbeat!
Took out of town friends. Enjoyed the specialty "burger" of the evening...tuna steak. Excellent.
Made a reservation 2 weeks in advance, arrived to a nearly empty restaurant with 12 -2 people tables available but were made wait while they cleaned the table right inside the door where they sat us. Supposed to be a brew pub of the 5 beers on the list which was on the table only 1 was available. Food arrived and the fries were warm at best. Server was friendly. Would not return.
Atmosphere is fantastic! Food is AMAZING!! Delicious and portions are large!! A+++
Well I think this place has great potential! When we entered from street we were greeted by a podium but no one there, nor would and service people tell us we needed to go across the room to check in. We checked in with our reservation but they were not ready to seat us for 10 added minutes. Meanwhile there were 4 empty tables on the floor, guess not enough staff to man all the tables. As for the meal it was good, sadly my friend ordered organic chicken and after eating 3/4 of it she noted it was undercooked. Now the staff did comp the dish. We walked away from the experience as well not sure I’d go back any time soon. On an upward note, the beer was good!
The hospitality and ambience were delightful! Very attentive hostesses and wait staff too. We both had the French Dip sandwich which was tasty but a tad dry. Perhaps toasting the bun with a little EVOO or butter would have made the ciabatta more appealing. We would definitely go back as they are trying...and succeeding... to iron out the kinks!
I booked this restaurant for a weekend trip with my wife. We had dinner here and it was fantastic. The service was very good and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place.
Super loud. Beautiful place. Service was great. Tap water was warm. Asked for a medium burger and came out well done.
It was great for Fathers Day lunch
Love the look of the place but not a huge selection of beers on tap. Food was good but very slow to arrive. Staff are incredibly friendly and if I went back it would be because of them
Food was good, but chicken sandwich was small. Decent amount of fries. Their beer was good. Need to improve their service, waited almost an hour for our food. Very noisy. Need to "Get the kinks out" before prime beach season starts. Unfortunately, wouldn't rush back there.
Food was awesome! Beer is great too!
Good food at reasonable prices and several craft beers to choose from
We have owned a home in Avalon the past 15 yrs.
We tried the Pub, it was terrible..
We arrived 30 min prior to our reservation, the hostess had us wait, with no direction on what to do..
They were out of a white wine, that was on their list..
The service once seated was slow, place was not
I ordered the tuna, it was served on a bed of spinach, nothing more.
My husband had their pork w pasta dish, tasteless...
Would never go back.., complete waste of a dining experience!!
Amazing staff- great food and beer! Great place to come! Will always come back!
food order took too long from the kitchen. turn up the heat in dining rm.food was warm not hot.
Great food, really cute inside and great service. Cozy family dinner, kid friendly or great for happy hour or date night. Will be back
Delicious & convenient.
Crowded because of the Kentucky derby, but then it cleared out. Food was delicious. For non beer drinkers, don’t order a mojito.
Great atmosphere and very comfortable. Food was good but not quite at level experienced in the past. Attribute it to off season. Will absolutely go back again but will expect better food and service.
another delicious meal at the Brew Pub...they never disappoint!!
It's a fun place with really nice people working there. It made a difference and we will definitely go back.
We love the new Avalon Brew Pub. The food is outstanding - and there is something for everyone - they have a great selection of beers to choose from, and a small but very functional bar area. It's great for lunch, dinner out or a drink at the bar. Their hostess Judi is excellent and very friendly - service was quick and everything tasted great.
Nice local brew pub experience.
New Years weekend dinner. Very lively and accommodating
This was my second time here and our family really loves it. The service was good including a manager coming over to ask if everything was to our satisfaction. My salmon and risotto was excellent. The pizza is authentic and very good. Love the ambiance although some noise insulation would be helpful.
Ambiance is fun. Menu is fine, but food was over cooked and over salted. Has a lot of potential, but needs better food prep/cooking oversight.
The food was exceptional, the menu is tight but here are entree's and typical bar food. We want last week and returned this week with family members I was so happy we asked for the chef and Paul came out so we could thank him.
Atmosphere is very nice . Our waitress was good. Problem was it took over 1 hour to get our food and it was cold. Kitchen needs improvement . If that situation is corrected, it will be a Great place .
Of the two time we dined at the Avalon Brew Pub the hostess seemed stress, not too welcoming and even though we were early and most of the tables empty we were placed in-between the two other filled tables. So everyone was located in one area of the whole restaurant . We asked for a table away from the others, but got "No those are not available" . The table we asked for was never occupied during our visit.
We tried twice, probably not going back.
Great! I was pleasantly surprised, at both the level or service and the food. From the hostess to our server, the level of friendly service was excellent. The meals were delicious, although they took a good while to come out, it was understandable with the crowd there. I had a burger which comes with fries. Delicious! Also the basket of warm pretzel bread with dip was a big hit. Try it, I think you'll like it too.
A welcome addition to the 7 Mile scene, the newly-opened Brew Pub will surely iron out some early miscues in the coming weeks. Overall, it was a good experience. It's very loud. VERY LOUD. I'd expect to see some acoustic tiles mounted, or maybe some more fabrics to break up a room full of steel, wood and tile. Our meal was good across the board, aside from a crab/corn chowder that was more a consumme, devoid of any solid/textural evidence of either of the key ingredients. To her credit, our server, who did a great job, offered to take it off the bill, which wasn't necessary.
