   Delicious roast lunch - large portion and very tasty. The vegetarian option was great, a Mediterranean vegetable wellington. Sadly the service was not great. We had to chase several times to order a drink, for our pudding to arrive (it took 35mins from ordering) and when we asked for extra cauliflower cheese (as the portion we received was for 2 not 3), the waitress was quite dismissive.

   I have been to the Auction House many times before and always been happy, but this experience really ruined it for me. It was live music night and we were put upstairs as it was busy (we did book a table), which is fine, however there was no background music or anything upstairs, just the muffled noise of the singer downstairs. It was pretty full upstairs but there were no staff waiting up there, we had to wait 30 minutes to order drinks and by then I went downstairs to the bar and ordered, noticing staff dancing with the live singer instead of serving. There were only 3 waitresses working on a very busy night and food was taking around 1.5 hours. It was pretty poor show - if you're going to put people upstairs then make sure it's staffed up there. There's a bar upstairs that can be staffed too!

   Service was good but the live music was too loud and it was difficult to talk at table, as was trying to catch up with friends. Most of food very good but only 1 pizza arrived with rest of mains and other took another 15 mins. When it arrived the outside of the dough was still raw. We pointed out to waitress and she apologised and took it back asking if we wanted replacement but that would have been too late. It was taken off bill and they were apologetic but it did spoil a nice evening with friends. Otherwise rest of food good.

   We had booked upstairs table but sat downstairs didn’t mind until open mic singers it was so loud & not ideal for a meal experience Enjoyed food service could be improved

   Ordered steak, came back bloody when I specifically said medium/little pink. Ordered it again and never came. Overall I’m not happy.

   Absolutely amazing service, food, cocktails and the live music was a bonus. Would definitely go again.

   Lovely venue and good food. Service was slow. On the Friday evening they had live music which was rather loud thus making it difficult to hold a conversation, I wasn't aware at time of booking. Overall would recommend.
