The Salishan resort is very pretty. However, the drinks at the Attic are just okay. They definitely hype the Attic to be a cool mixed drink bar online and they fall short of that delivery. The main bourbon drink on their menu was not available and they didn't have a replacement drink or a suggestion. The waitress told us they had been out of the drink for about two weeks, and the menu wasn't updated. They charge about 15 dollars for their cocktails and I've definitely made better tasting drinks in a barracks with less. However, the presentation was good with the drinks and the food, but like the drinks the food tastes underwhelming. In short, it was over priced and under delivered.

We had margaritas which were quite good. We had Brussels sprouts perfectly cooked. We had a chicken Sandwich, excellent and terrific salmon in a lemon cream sauce. Perfect, we also had Spanish coffee for dessert. That was great, highly recommended.

We've eaten at The Attic many times through the years. Sadly, the level of food and service has declined. Our food arrived only lukewarm (might be because the kitchen is downstairs). The bartender, although very polite and kind, didn't know how to mix the drink my wife ordered (Brandy Alexander). Our server was extremely polite and helpful, but he had too many tables so he couldn't be as prompt as the prices would require.

The timing of the food was off, the risotto was very undercooked, the pizza was on a flatbread cracker (not pizza dough), the brussel sprouts had full stalks still attached, the salad was a mess. We ordered a bottle of wine and they opened it away from the table and when they brought it we realized it was not what was listed on the menu. The waiter was very nice and took some money off the price since it was not what we ordered, but we would have preferred to order something else. Overall, a subpar experience

Service was good but the food was not the best. They were out of chicken so there’s wasn’t many options to choose from. I got the salmon and it wasn’t cooked through all the way. We noticed when I already ate half of it and afterwards my stomach started hurting really bad.

We had a reservation for 6:45 on a Friday with our two kids. As soon as we arrived we had a table available, however we were told that the kitchen would not be taking orders for the next 15 to 20 minutes. With kids that was a bit of a struggle, but we were allowed to have bread with a waived fee. Unfortunately we didn’t get any plates so the table became quickly messy as the kids ate that up. We were asked about food about 25 minutes later, and ordered the kids meal with an appetizer and asked for that to come out first followed by our main dish so we could help the kids eat without a full table. Everything came out at once, the seafood appetizer had nice sized shrimp, but the crab was two small pieces completely submerged into the cocktail sauce made mostly of horseradish. Couldn’t even tell it was crab to be honest. I ordered the halibut with risotto which was cold and raw in the middle, with a rice that tasted like uncle Ben’s boiled in mushroom soup. On the side there was a spoon full of cranberry compote, very watery. There was no beer on tap as the tap had been broken - for weeks they said. Overall it felt disorganized and poorly cared for, at an above average cost. The hotel is really pretty though!

Creative cocktails were a great mix of flavors: a beautiful pale purple flower-infused gin and tonic and one with mezcal. Brussels sprouts appetizer shared by four and enjoyed by all. Mac and cheese was garlicky and delicious; flavorful mushroom pizza and would order again. I had a Caesar salad with salmon, a large portion and was happy with my meal. Server was sweet and just attentive enough. We were all happy with our evening at The Attic.

We received our daughters meal almost an hour before the rest of our food came. We waited a long time, we had to ask for more water and refills of drinks. They charged us for refills on soda without informing us they would. Also, who charges for soda refills anyways, and at a restaurant when each plate is $20-30? Seems ridiculous. My husbands dish also didn't come out with the other dishes. They forgot and had to cook it...more waiting...he ordered a cheeseburger which came without cheese! But at that point we were so done with waiting. We also ordered a Cobb salad which was served with brown avocado slices, very unappetizing. How do you send that out from the kitchen? A very frustrating experience and a long time just waiting and waiting. Way too expensive for food that was subpar and service not great.

Upon checking into the hotel we decided to go for dinner at 8:00 PM and made a reservation. We were ignored at the front desk for around 10 minutes, but as there was no where else to dine, we waited. Upon sitting down, we were told that they were out of pizza (which was the only thing we were hoping to have) Due to this, we settled on a bowl of tomato soup and the hummus. Before we could order our meals, we were told that they were doing last call at the bar. It was at this point that we realized it was 8:45 and so we asked if we would be able to order another drink while we were eating. We were informed no, and to go downstairs and get drinks to go. Due to this, my husband ordered an old fashion and I ordered a glass of wine. When the old fashion arrived, we were already finished our meal and it was a rosemary old-fashioned, which is not what we ordered. The server did not ask us if we were ok with it, she just stated that she rang it in wrong, and dropped it down. It was unfortunate.

The restaurant space itself was nice and I requested and got a table on the patio overlooking the golf course which was lovely. The staff were in chaos due to backed up food orders. I had to flag down a server to get them to help me, then they were very attentive. I ordered the special which was $30+. The salmon was excellent, but the risotto was literally cold and not fully cooked. I ate it all because I was really hungry but for the price I paid it was not a great value, save that I didn't have to leave the resort. I'd likely have been better off crossing 101 and going to those restaurants.

Service staff seemed to be undertrained and overwhelmed with the bare minimum tasks that come with working in a restaurant. We made a reservation and had to wait in a line of people being denied for not making one, even though there were open tables. Once we were sat, it took quite a while to get water and drinks. As for the food, worst food for the price I’ve gotten in some time. Not sure they have a single spice in that kitchen.

First of all, the staff was doing their best with what they had. Our bartender made fabulous drinks and our waitress was very nice. However...This restaurant needs help! Their music was down so it was extremely quiet in the dining room and it made for a very awkward experience for us diners who could hear each and every one of our conversations. The food was mediocre at best and came out cold. They really need to figure out what kind of restaurant they are, the menu is all over the place. It seemed to us that the corporate management was not supporting the best that they could and so the very undermanaged staff was doing their best to make it work. I worked at Salishan many years ago and was really disappointed with where the food service has gone. Ownership needs to take a good look at what they offer and pay more attention to this resort. It could be so great if there was focus given to the total experience.

We booked a reservation for our anniversary dinner so we were seated promptly but then completely ignored for a half an hour. Another table seated after us got their drinks and food before anyone even took our drink order. Once we did finally get our drinks/food the cocktails were quite good but the food was very subpar. I had the “homemade” garlic Alfredo dish and I truly would have rather eaten Olive Garden. My husband got the fish tacos and it tasted like microwaved rice & beans. Very overpriced for the quality of the food and lack of service and disappointing for our anniversary celebration!

We expected more for how much we paid. Beans and rice were dry, as if they had been sitting for a while. Pizza was soggy and flavors clashed. Dead fruit flies in winemade us wonder how long it had been sitting open(the server did comp the wine, so that was nice).Service was very slow. 3 stars because the servers were nice.

We had a dinner reservation for my mom’s birthday and when we arrived they didn’t have a table so they sat us in a back corner next to the pool table. We did not receive any service until we had been sitting for half an hour, had to get up to ask for water, and didn’t receive our first entree until an hour and a half after we’d arrived. We did not get utensils, and the food that arrived was burnt.

I booked a few reservations for our large party of 17 adults and kids. The Attic Lounge did a great job of setting us up nicely and taking care of the kids table. The adults enjoyed a lovely table on the patio. The drinks were delicious (and strong), decent variety or food. The tacos, Brussels sprouts and salads were delicious and my husband enjoyed his steak. Our server tried very hard to make sure everything went smoothly. He even ran to the market in the lobby to get us all ice cream sandwiches which we were craving. Well done!

Food was quite bad. Bread was stale and inedible $6. Shrimp and crab appetizer was unseasoned and sitting in a bowl of strong horseradish sauce. Awful. Halibut was overcooked and mushroom risotto was quite good but really a sweet pepper risotto with no mushroom flavor at all. A glass of California cabernet was $22 - no price on wine menu. Very pleasant service. Rather soulless dining room.

We had a really awful experience here, sadly! The server forgot to put in our appetizer order and never checked in again until our main courses arrived 20 minutes after we ordered. Our little kiddo’s pizza was inedible, and she ordered a different dish. We also ordered cocktail refills. None of these items ever arrived, and we never saw our server again! This was around 5:30 pm with only 5 tables in the restaurant seated. We had to finally go find a different server to get our check. Comically awful all around.

Our food was good overall. We had three steak oscar specials and on one cioppino. The cioppino was flavorful and had ample seafood. Unfortunately it came with stale bread that had been toasted and half of an uncracked snow crab (totally in the shell and placed INTO the broth). Initially, no spoon, extra napkins, shell plate or crab cracker were given...this made for an absolute mess. The chef needs to rethink the presentation. Additionally curious was the snow crab...its' Dungeness Crab season! Next, was our young server. He failed to write any of our orders down so he failed bring us three ordered items: a cup of clam chowder, a soda, and a dessert. The dessert was later brought (once he was remined) and he claimed the kitchen had dropped it and had to remake it. Unfortunately, we saw him actually place the dessert order after we had reminded him. We were not charged for the missing chowder but we were charged for the missing soda. Salishan used to be a place for exceptional food and service...still has a long way to go to regain it's glory days

Terrible overall. For a half full restaurant, it took over an hour to get bland, tasteless food. Two cocktails ordered at the same time, one came and was finished when the other showed up 34 minutes later. Noise was high, staff and kitchen inexperienced. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

Everyone is entitled to a bad day but when it’s the cook, it is hard to overlook. Had to send a steak back that was overcooked and when it returned it was undercooked. To the teams credit, the removed it + a beverage from the tab. Service was good - although we could overhear other tables issues with food. A bad day for the kitchen, unfortunately. These diners will not return.

I was very disappointed in my time here. I had made reservations for my wife’s birthday because we are both vegan and the menu was marked online as vegan friendly. My issues with our meal is for the chef and management NOT the service. Josh, our server made every accommodation he could with the shortest end of the stick. Most of their menu is marked that it can be done in a vegan manner, which was good enough for us honestly. However, when we asked for the bread and butter which is marketed to be served with olive oil to dip instead of butter Josh came back to inform us that the bread had eggs in it. Again, not a big issue if the food wasn’t marketed to be a vegan item. Moving along, my wife ordered the thai bowl which was decent. Presentation was nice but it came out cold and bland. I ordered a sandwich that was the only bully vegan item on the menu. Josh came back to say that the only bread they have is the one with egg in it. He asked if I would just like a salad I said sure and he said he’d be able to bring some italian dressing along with it. I was content with my salad and fries. However, when Josh brought the food out, there was no dressing, I asked and he explained that they were all out of their dressings except for ranch. So my salad was carrots, cucumbers, two leaves of romaine with two slices of avocado that I covered in salt and pepper to add some flavor. We wanted to order the “Beet Tartar” as well just based on pure curiosity and we were both still hungry due to the other items being lack luster. Before even leaving the table Josh was able to tell us that they were out of that too. We saw they had Jackfruit Chili, asked for that, out. Asked about the tomato basil soup, out of that too. He explained the soup of the day was a veggie lentil, which I thought “great” cause my wife LOVES lentil soup. We asked for a cup of that to split. Josh came back and said that the chef didn’t remember if he used veggie or chicken stock for the soup. Waste of my money.

Not a lot of menu choices. Would have loved to try the pizza but there was not one pizza with any kind of meat on the menu. For folks who like beef, your choices are the cheesburger and the 10oz Carlton Farms steak. The food was well prepared and well presented but was barely warm when served. The server was very nice, but service was slow. The restaurant is small and evey table was full. I would recommend if you can go early (before 6 p.m.).

Dinner for birthday was not great! Cold microwave pizza for kids! Price for 2 pizzas and 2 adult meals over $170 wow stay away and just get something down the hill for less and better service and food
