Ambiance was very good. Good variety of food choices for buffet. Enjoyed the different food stations I.e. said bar, specpialized just prepared foods (pork roast and ravioli) and desert bar. Only downside was entrees need to be hotter.
Pleased that we were not whisked away from table. Took our time, which was purpose for visit--to catch up with long lost friends.
Spectacular Brunch. Thank you for sharing.
Great food. Great atmosphere.
Our all-time favorite venue to get together with friends and family, who travel in from Long Island, where we can sit and visit--and eat--without being rushed. Great selection of food on the buffet line.
Best brunch buffet around. Made every member of my family happy. Fresh and delicious
It was very good food people and atmosphere we enjoyed it very much
If you didn't choose the buffet the choices were very limited. I also thought that the buffet choices were very limited. This isn't suited for a romantic dinner. It's more like a cafeteria with table cloths. The lights are very bright in the evening. The wine list is horrible, but the prices are high for cheap wines. I was there fir a dinner meeting, but uwouldn't go back on my own. If you're staying there the rooms are very stark, but clean. I would like to suggest that they re-do their menu and add more wines to the wine list. Turn down the lights!!
The waiter was courteous and constantly coming to our table to see if we needed anything. The food was plentiful and have a very nice variety. The parking was easy and the ambience was very nice
This was a first time for the Friday Barbecue. Everything was exactly as advertised.
The food was good and so was the service. I look forward to the Fall/winter menu.
My friend and I enjoyed the Sunday Brunch very much. A fine selection of things .
Excellent food and service as usual. Fully satisfied with experience.
Excellent. Quite noisy for my taste, but there was a baby show gathering and that may ber the reason.
The Atrium has the best Sunday Brunch that I've found in Westchester.
This was a terrible experience. Food was horrible. Service was worse. We will not be returning here.
The Saturday night buffet at the Atrium is an exceptional experience in every way. It is a feast literally from soup to salad bar to a selection of entrees to sumptuous desserts including an ice cream bar. The service and ambience is unequalled and the price, $23.50 is a bargain. In addition children can enjoy mini pizzas, pastas, chicken fingers, fries etc. in a special buffet for them at a special price of $11.00. Children can eat anything from the adults buffet and vice versa. The only negative is the temptation to overindulge...but that isn't so terrible once in a while. Highly recommended!
On Saturday dinners the Atrium offers a incredible buffet for $22.50 for adults and much less for kids. The kids buffet has pasta, chicken, pizza etc. although they can eat from anywhere. There is a sumptuous salad bar, chicken, fish , veggies etc. I won't even begin to describe the the incredible desserts. There is also a great ice cream bar with toppings. The buffet, with some add'l things is available during the week for much more $. I encourage you to take advantage of this great deal.
We had brunch at the Atrium and enjoyed the variety and ambiance
We weren't quite sure what to expect since this was our first time to the Atrium however when we arrived and were seated, we quickly settled in to a wonderful atmosphere and scrumptious buffet. We found that the staff were very friendly, attentive and genuinely pleasant and the chef was absolutely witty! Additionally we were delighted to be entertained by the tasteful music of Tony Traina and his band. It made for a wonderful experience.
Nice going guys!
The outside of the building ( hotel) is in disrepair, very unattractive, unkept grounds. Inside was nicer. Live music a nice touch. Room was almost empty, the hostess tied to seat us next to ( the only) large party. when we asked for a different seat, we had to follow her through the empty room to the desk before being led to our new seats. Seemed ridiculous. Coffee was good, and refilled. hot food items were fair, not very innovative. Cold salads good, with nice variety. Shrimp were great.Carving station meats were good. Did not try the omelets, lines were long, desserts were grey. Nice variety and tiny portions, so you could try several. fruit was limited, would have liked a better selection.
My wife and I have gone to the Atrium many times. It is one of the few places where you can enjoy good music and even dance. The buffet is reasonably priced at $38.50 per person and the variety is adequate. However, it does appear that the variety of food has been reduced since last we were there. The seating varies from large areas which are enjoyed by people celebrating various occasions and small tables for a more intimate arrangement. Overall we would certainly recommend the Atrium for anyone who would like to enjoy an evening of nice music and good food.
The menu wasn't great , good service, steak was great, the food was more vegtables, the pasta and toppings were good , I rather go for lunch, cheaper and better food.
We go for special occasions. It is pricey, but the food is consistently good and the staff is friendly and always wants to please, especially for special occasions like this, a 95th birthday celebration. The magician is fabulous, for kids and the kid in all of us. And the band made it a point of playing big band music at my father's request. You are never rushed and will leave full and happy.
My 2 friends and I like to celebrate the holidays with lunch at the Atrium. The hotel and restaurant are always nicely decorated and festive. The buffet offers many choices for many different tastes. In the past when there have been a lot of diners, the dessert table was empty by the end of our meal. I am happy to say that this has been greatly improved. Our waiter was very attentive and anticipated our needs. This buffet is good value.
The food selection is wide-ranging and very tasty, appealing to all palates. The service is exceptional with great care taken by the wait staff.
I highly recommend the Atrium for special occasions.
One of the top ten in brunch destinations especially within driving distance from NYC
The Atrium is a very pretty restaurant in The DoralArrowood Hotel. There is a band that plays and when we were there it was nice having live background music.
We felt the buffet selections were somewhat limited but what was there was very well prepared. Overall it was a very nice way to spend Saturday night !
We were at the Saturday night buffet and dancing.
It's a large space. Patrons were few. People were seated far apart. The temperature bordered on arctic. The decore is in need of a major makeover. The food is plentiful, but mediocre. There was not much verirty at the carving station. Desserts were great. The live music included everything from current to oldies.
Good and plentiful buffet. Attentive service for the Sunday brunch. But they had a party with about 50 people that made the whole area VERY NOISY. Went with older people because it's a quite place so all can hear, but when you have 50 people for a party with the "regular" diners, the large group overwhelms the whole place and make is way too noisy.
We booked a reservation online and received a confirmation email. We reserved for dinner for 6 people, including family members that drove from NJ to go specifically to the Atrium. Upon our arrival we were informed that the restaurant was sold out, and our reservation could not be honored. The staff at the desk was extremely rude. We had 2 children that were hungry and we had to find another restaurant for dinner. We were very disappointed with this experience and, needless to say, will not be returning
The Atrium Sunday brunch is our go to place for special occasions. The ambiance is wonderful. The service is always attentive. The cold table foods, the salads, the carved meats, omelet station and desserts are always quite good. However the hot dishes need improvement. For example the paella is no resemblance to authentic paella.
Stayed at Doral Arrowwood for the weekend. We ate in the Atrium for dinner and breakfast. The staff was incredibly friendly and very attentive. Excellent service and the food was really good as well. Would definitely go back.
Great food, wonderful service, Jose in particular is a terrific waiter, always friendly, very responsive, you are fortunate to have him! Keep up the great work. We absolutely will come back yet again.
We went for brunch for my husbands first Father's Day. I guess the waiter didn't like young people bc he doted on all the old people at the tables around us like crazy and we had to flag him down for ever little thing. I literally watched him scan all his tables in his section and completely bypass ours! Impossible to get a champagne during the meal and coffee and tea at the end of our meal. Overall Food was great service terrible and be prepared for old people GALORE at this place, unless that was a fluke bc it was Father's Day.
We had a lovely father's day brunch. The buffet was well prepared and well stocked. The wait staff attentive and courteous.
We celebrated Fathers Day at the brunch and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was so accommodating and pleasant that it felt like a personal party. The food was abundant and delicious: carving station, waffle making, omelet station, many warm main dishes, beautiful salads, lox and bagels, frozen yogurt station, etc.
Found this place while I was looking for a place for my wife's birthday. The place was nice - great view out onto the lawns/golf course(?). There was a band that played, with a dance floor on the Saturday evening that we went (only available in the summer). They were able to accommodate a big group of 16. The restaurant had a buffet, and looked like it would be a good place for brunch as well. I recommend the restaurant for big groups / special occasions, dinner & dancing in the Westchester area.
What a true pleasure it was to take my girlfriend for our one year anniversary.
We took our son, daughter-in-law, 21 month grandson and 20 year old hungry nephew student at Sarah Lawrence to dinner. The buffet was very well stocked with variety to satisfy all. The Peruvian mashed potatoes (purple) were a huge hit. The selections for dessert were very well displayed and incredibly delicious. Everyone enjoyed the attentive staff who paid special attention to our grandson. A great time.
Food and service were very good. This good feeling was tempered by children running around the tables.
Service was the best I've ever had. Attentive and waiters only seemed to appear when you needed them and were prompt with any request. This made for an intimate and relaxing setting for Valentine's Day.
Food was very good. Short ribs were cooked to perfection.
I don't expect a large selection on Valentine's Day, but luckily there was one. Only issue was there were 5 different styles of potatoes and only a couple of other choices for other sides/vegetables. More options would have been nice.
