The food and food choices were very good. The sushi was outstanding, as we love The Lure. In terms of atmosphere, I guess I was expecting something a little less casual. The main dining room was closed this time of year, but we didn't know that before we arrived. The martini was served in a regular glass, not a martini glass. Had I know that, I wouldn't have ordered it. Service was very good and waiter was attentive. We liked the concept of having more than one restaurant menu to choose from.
The hostess was outstanding very personable and friendly, I did not catch her name but mentioned she had worked at the other location in Saint Pete.
After we were seated there was confusion on who our server was but they eventually sorted that out. Sushi rolls were good but not up to expectations via previous visits.
Not that we were in a hurry but it seemed to take too much time to get items to the table after ordering, maybe 10 minutes for a wine order to get to the table. The server also had a difficult time tracking down the small trays for our soy sauce but eventually came up with a couple of different bowls. Anyway, overall it was a good experience and maybe it’s just that it is a slow season and nothing is working as smoothly as it normally does.
Fantastic atmosphere and the food and service were fantastic!
Patrick the waiter was Great with good food suggestions and wine choices
After reading all the positive reviews I was excited to try this place...boy was it disappointing. I checked the menus on the website in advance & found a number or dishes that looked great. Unfortunately after we had been seated & ordered drinks we found out - upon inquiring because no one volunteered this - that they were on a "summer menu" & nearly everything on the Whiskey Grill menu was unavailable. I ordered the sauteed redfish & found it to be both overcooked & tasteless. The service was not friendly & the noise level was horrendous - almost impossible to have a conversation. Do not anticipate returning.
Excellent food and service in a beautiful environment!
Shawn, our server, was just greet with his amicable nature and attention. From the salmon, to the red fish to the burger to the ribeye steak, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! They were all perfectly prepared to order. The ambiance of this unique food hall concept is very inviting and lends itself to a feeling of community.
Varied menu, Concept works well for all tastes. Very attentive and informed wait staff. Clean, very pleasant atmosphere. Accommodates large and small parties. Seating inside and outside with waterfall and fans.
The different menus allow for an interesting mix of food you can order. Good bakery, too!
This was my second time at The Artisan and it was just as good as the first time I visited. Absolutely delicious! The Bruce is to die for. So many options you won't be disappointed.
Beautiful place great food will go back
Everyone in our group loved it
Loved the atmosphere and food quality and variety.
Excellent choices from varied menus; this "stations" concepts of combined restaurants works here. Everything has been well-prepared. Favorites are the poke bowls and the steaks. Well-done cocktails. Have eaten here several times and never been disappointed.
Would have given 3-1/2 stars but 1/2 stars not an option. Food was very good from both the Whiskey Grill and The Lure. Been here twice and enjoyed both the NY Steak and the duck.
What I'd like to see is better co-ordination between the different venues. Sushi & poke bowls are cold or room temperature. How hard to keep those dishes aside until hot meals are ready to serve so we can all eat together? Also some noise dampening on the ceiling would be helpful to tone down noise form across the room.
All in all a positive dining experience and we'll be back.
It was my girls night out group and we were seated by the window. The termites were sworming all around us. Then some termites went in my drink. They replaced my drink but never even asked if we wanted to be moved to another table. The place was empty! Do not think they will survive long. Otherwise the appetizers we did eat were good.
Very cool concept and was excited to try The Artisan and it didn’t disappoint. There were four of us, each ordering from a different restaurant and everything was great. Great waitress, great food and beautiful outdoor seating. I will visit again.
We’ve been to the Artisan twice now and both times have been very satisfied. Very good food with great surroundings at a reasonable price
Two people in our 4-person our party had meat dishes which were overcooked. Three of us had mixed drinks which had barely a hint of alcohol. This was our second visit to The Artisan in a few months. Our first (dinner for two) was excellent. This second visit was a disappointment.
Love the variety on the menu and happy hour drink specials. We sat outside and the ambiance was perfect. Our server was sometimes hard to find but everything else was great
This is a hidden secret. The food was made to order. Came out hot and with tons of flavor. The waiter, Patrick was very attentive and knowledgeable. Definitely going back.
I have reviewed this restaurant before and every time we go we are pleasantly surprised. The Salmon is wonderful, the Poke bowls are fabulous. The Sushi is just average, but that doesn't stop us from returning again and again. Next time I will order something different.
We will return.
Overall the experience was great, service was very good and all meals were quite tasty except the ribeye “the Favre” . I order it medium, on the servers description, and it arrived burned. They graciously took it back and replaced it, with apologies from the manager, but the second try was tough, very tough.
I would go back, but never have the steak.
This was not a busy night for Artisan INSIDE, where we chose to sit. Drinks were well prepared and inventive. We ordered zucchini fries, Buffalo cauliflower and humachi for starters. All were excellent. The burgers and poke bowl that followed were equally good. Service was good and prices fair. Would def recommend.
Very unique restaurant with several menus to chose from. 7 of us each had something different. Very good food very good value
Good atmosphere & great food
Great lunch and beautiful restaurant. Holden the manager was very friendly and accommodating. He made sure we had a great birthday lunch. Food was delicious and great service from our server. I will definitely recommend The Artisan.
Our server “ forgot” to put our order in, so the wait was xtra long....he comped our drinks and gave us a free dessert.
Food was okay, not great...may or may not give them another try.
Patio are was lovely with the waterfall....enjoyed al fresco dining.
Great food, lots of variety, great service, not too loud or crowded. Will happily go back!
Wonderful guitarist but too loud to talk at normal tone.
Server, Helen was great! Food was delicious & nice presentation. Would go back & have recommended it.
Wish smokers outside would be separated from others annoyed with smoking at next table
Great food and dining experience
Service was friendly and attentive
You cannot even hear your waiter. I had a burger my husband had a sushi roll. I finished eating before he even received his meal.
The burgers were very good. I would recommend Artisan for the ambiance and the outdoor patio. My dinner was just average and not worth finishing.
We LOVE the Artisan! The service, provided by Josh, is exceptional. The food is very goo, although I had to send my Mac and Cheese back because it was lukewarm. They replaced it with almost hot mac and cheese. Flavor is wonderful. I had the Salmon, which I highly recommend. The other meal ordered was the Hamburger (really good). I don't recall what our Guests ordered but they seemed please. It is a great place with an eclectic menu.
The food was very good. I would definitely go back, however, the food at our table for 4 persons, came at 3 different times. One dish was delivered rather quickly. We then waited about 10 mins and 2 more plates arrived, and then about 3 minutes later our last order was delivered.
Sushi was very good. Took extra long for service.
We loved the concept of The Artisan but be prepared for a huge menu separate kitchens and come here to relax with your meal. Understand that with three restaurants under one roof everyone is not going to get the food ordered at one time. If you understand the concept you will enjoy the meal.
Tonight our meal was a bit rocky but the server recognized the issues and brought it to the manager’s attention before we realized something was wrong. Tim was most cordial and instantly came to the table and apologized for the food screw up and did something about it without our asking. Perfect way to address the issue without our being bothered.
The food? We loved it. One diner had salmon and it was served perfectly as ordered. I had a scallop appetizer that was served with delicious couscous The additional side of Mac and Cheese was so so, not served piping hot as expected. Two of us had the grilled asparagus and they were perfectly cooked. One diner had red fish and loved his meal. Another diner had the tater tot appetizer and pigged out.
Would we come back? Yes, definitely. Did we enjoy the food? Loved it. Especially impressed that the manager averted a problem that could have destroyed the meal.
Good food. Great atmosphere. Only thing is parking in Gulfport on a Friday night is a trick.
Upscale casual neighborhood restaurant. Fresh simple food.
pleasantly surprised on the menu options and spacious atmosphere. We had sushi outstanding. Highly recommend for a casual dining experience.
