The Artichoke, un restaurante galardonado ubicado en la hermosa ciudad comercial de Old Amersham, dispone de un nuevo espacio ampliado junto con suntuosos interiores contemporáneos. Además, cuenta con una selección de colores suaves y apagados que complementa la decoración cuidadosamente elegida. La magnífica "Living Wall" (pared viva) de hierbas sigue en su lugar. Sin embargo, ahora puede sentarse en el salón comedor del jardín o en el salón comedor de la cocina, donde puede observar cómo trabaja Laurie y su equipo en la cocina abierta y reservar un sitio en la mesa del chef, una gran opción para probar los innovadores menús de degustación. En la 1ª planta está el salón comedor del vino, que da a una completa bodega, ideal para cenas de negocios sofisticadas, celebraciones privadas y catas de vino. Second visit. Great service & food. But "nippy" when door opened, & this time there was a party going on upstairs. Singing & laughter from upstairs, but people having a good time, so NO complaints. Preferred sitting in other area of restaurant as we found it more cosy & we enjoyed seeing the chefs creating. We will definitely be visiting again.

First time back here since Michelin star awarded. Superb food - greatly enjoyed 8 course tasting menu. Many congratulations!

A lovely cosy restaurant, with a happy buzz as the friendly staff went about their business looking after all the diners. The staff were all attentive, and the 6 course menu which we had chosen was served at a relaxed pace. We didn’t feel rushed at all.( we thought we might, as we had booked an early table, and had been told that we only had it for 2 hours). We were actually there for more like 3 hours than 2. The food was outstanding, probably one of the best meals we have ever eaten. I hope that the menu will be changed fairly frequently, as we hope to return again soon.

We had the 6 course lunch tasting menu which was good value and presented very well. We enjoyed all the courses and also the Amuse. The service was good and friendly but not too over the top. The atmosphere was perfect and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I wouldn't normally pay this much but it was a special treat.

As usual, it was a spectacular menu and the food sublime. Our guests were completely wowed by the standard of the food and can’t wait to come back.
