   We always enjoy the Artichoke, but this time we waited a while for the chef to appear, and by the time we got back to our table our food was only warm bordering on cold. We always see a very friendly waitress who is always very helpful . She always remembers us, and gives very good service. A cold roast is not very pleasant which is why I only gave three stars for the food this time.

   Food good, service was fair. Very busy & long queue for Carvery- could have done with another person serving. General cleanliness not good with piles of dirty glasses on bar waiting to be cleared & I had to ask for a different glass as mine was still dirty.

   Meat server was helpful and the meat cooked well and tender. Would have probably liked more vegetables but overall good value. The only downside is the price of soft drinks when you only want half a pint of lemonade. £2.80 is excessive and more than beer.

   It's a Toby! Average quality roast dinner at an exceptionally low price. Well presented and reasonably well kept food, as usual the gravy station was a bit of a mess but this was towards the back end of a busy Friday lunch session. Would probably benefit from more staff but hard to see how anything could be improved much at these prices.

   Booked for the first time, found it so easy. A good lunch where you can eat as little or as much as you want. Always find the service good, everyone is always so helpful and friendly. Cannot go wrong with a nice roast dinner
