I was so impressed with how professional the food presentation, taste, and service was for a restaurant run by culinary students. I can't wait to go back again and see what they come up with next time. Fabulous experience!

Dining here is an event in that you are part of the classroom. Over the years have seen the food improve to a terrific level of taste and presentation. Staff interaction with diners still needs work but is forgiven. Waitstaff needs to know what all the items are (not that many) such as what kind of muffin it is or fish, etc. A great value and will definitely return. Wish they would turn the air conditioner down.

The quiche was inedible. The steaks, soup, lukewarm. Small order of fries. And only five steaks to table was wrong. If advertised should have had enough. Desserts delightful. We will still come back again.

The bread in all forms: crescent roll dinner roll, and especially the croissants are so heavy, dense, difficult to get to the chicken salad through all the thick bread. Since this is a learning experience, I would think experts in croissants would be invited to teach, or a visit to Essence Cafe or even the Scottsdale Saturday market where there is a Frenchman selling pastry. In every situation in life, getting better is learning from experts! The lady who owns “essence” brought a French baker to US to teach her. Learning is experimenting as I have observed Scts culinary SCC with hamburgers, which have been delicious. The meringue desert was delicious, perfectly formed. The other 2 deserts were also tasty. The Cobb salad that I took home had mostly the stalk of romaine as the green. I only ate the egg. Previously the to go items have been great.

We were disappointed with both entrees. The meat was mush and all fatty on the brisket. The chicken in the tortilla was tiny pieces the size of a quarter. Overall the cost was ridiculous for what was edible. The service was wonderful. We shared comments with the instructor and no other options were offered. We went out for lunch when we left the classroom. Not a pleasant meal !

We stumbled on this restaurant doing a google search and we’re thrilled that we tried it. The waiter brought out a selection of breads that he said they baked this morning, one more delicious than the next. We had the prefix 3 course meal for $19 that included soup or salad and we chose the southwest chicken soup that was creamy and delicious! We had the baked trout over quinoa with green beans and a delicious sauce - it was the best trout dish I’ve ever eaten-seriously! And dessert was a selection of pastries and you got 3! An amazing napoleon with raspberry’s, creamy tiramisu and a yummy macaron- all were so fresh and delicious! And iced tea or lemonade was included! I’ve eaten at many of the 5 star restaurants here in Scottsdale and this community college program is delving out the best food I’ve had in a long time. We will be back for lunch this week and in the fall they will be serving dinner - can’t wait! So impressed with this culinary program, you have to try it!

It was truly a treat to have student servers and cooks. We enjoyed the meal and ambience — such a neat experience. Easy to find with web instructions and easy to have conversations at the table. We will return!

Server Erica knew just how I wanted to hack the Italian soda beverage. She brought the creamer and we turned it into a French soda. Also got sandwich, hummus, and cookie at the popular Grab 'N Go counter to share with working staff who couldn't make it to lunch.

SCC has much to offer. Menus include Veg or Gluten Free choices. Delightful food and service, inviting al fresco tables outside. Follow the painted artichokes on green path to see wildlife at Toad Hall or relaxing Two Waters pond.

Prix fixe $19 menu of the day is great value. Starts with choice of tea or lemonade and tempting student baked goods like sesame crackers and herb loaf. Yummy tortilla soup and almond crusted trout over quinoa. Dessert surprise treat of candied macadamia nut, chocolate truffle and creme brulee.

Wonderful to be back in dining room with modern looks by school's interior design dept. Fun to meet different students each week and try the rotating menu. Great dishes with quality ingredients and healthy options. The helpful staff is eager to accommodate special requests. Top notch service, beverages and food.

I have dined here for thirty years and this experience will be my last. The students currently have no supervision, no one checking in their work. The waitress did nothing right. A few examples: Brought the wrong food, said they ran out of the right entree, I wanted me to eat the soup with a fork, I had to argue to get a spoon, brought a check for $98;dollars instead of $28. The excuse was: it is a Pandemic. What I assume that means is no one is teaching good preparation at this time, and certain no one is teaching or supervising students. I didn’t mention the good quality.it was mysterious and mediocre. Thick bor hot was called pho. Overcooked, mushy lumpy rice. Gloppy desserts. But hey, they are students and it is a pandemic. Until they hire new teachers and supervisors I recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Creative new dishes by international students. Wonderful from start to finish with appetizers citrus flatbread, charcuterie board and desserts matcha mousse, key lime pie. Great value 4 course dinner with duck entree priced at $30. Enjoyed server Nikolai's Italian herb loaf in cast iron pan.

The servers were nervous but did a great job. The food was incredible. The shape of the dining room was a but unusual (one curved wall that made the seating plan feel a little awkward but the tables were positioned to take account of this). Overall we will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We've been going here for over 5yrs & always gave a 5 star review. The restaurant has been moved/remodeled & though very pleasant it doesn't have the warm ambience of the previous (diner) dining area. Food & overall still very good.

I really enjoy going to the Artichoke Grill. The service is so friendly and it's great to chat with the students. Also, I can always count on a quiet atmosphere to have a chat with a friend. It is never loud and noisy.
