This steakhouse definitely lives up to the hype. Delicious filet mignon, and the sides are ridiculously good. The bone marrow toast appetizer is a must. Service is top notch. Will definitely be back!

Birthday dinner

Arthur J is ALWAYS the best, and NEVER disappoints! We had a wonderful birthday celebration in their beautiful and quaint outdoor patio.

It was all so delicious!

Service started out slow but soon settled into perfection. We dallied over our delicious meal and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We will definitely be returning, soon.

The scallop appetizer was the best - the scallops were perfectly cooked and seasoned and melted in our mouths.

Would expect better service for the price. Food was good, expensive

Amazing food and excellent service from Mike!

Food was good except for the sea bass which my wife did not like at all and barely touched. They actually took it off the bill and that was very nice. Mike our waiter was very nice as well. The music was very loud inside. The steaks were terrific though we waited over 40 minutes between our apps and entrees. For the price, it wasn’t ideal.

sadly this was not one of our better meals here it’s usually five stars when we eat here so maybe it was just an off night. The filet mignon was not as melt in your mouth and tender as it usually is- had to ask twice for béarnaise sauce that was not served cold, mashed potatoes were outstanding as was the asparagus.

Fabulous experience! We have historically always enjoyed our Arthur J dining and this last week was no exception. We were celebrating a special birthday and was important that everyone in our party enjoy the experience. Outside table was made windproof and warm thanks to the continuing efforts of management and waitstaff. Our waitress Stephanie was amazing—attentive, knowledgeable and proactive. Each member of our party of five raved about their drink, entree, sides and dessert. The Arthur J organization really knows how to impress!

Everything was absolutely delicious. The cocktails. appetizers, salad, steaks, sea bass, and deserts. The service was just as good.

Excellent food, second to none. Tomahawk, Filet and Prime Rib were all fantastic. I had the Fries and they were great. Service was also top notch, couldn't ask for better. I have tries all the sauces and can't say that I care for any other than the Bernaise. But the Filet was so delicious it need nothing else on it. Arthur Js is a bit pricey but no better place for a special occasion. Mmmmm...that steak was SOOO GOOD!

A great spot to celebrate a special occasion or treating yourself to a night out. The steak sampler is the best option to try multiple meats - can't go wrong with the mashed potatoes too. Enjoy!

Service was great. Food was just okay, everything was VERY salty, especially the fries. We ordered the burrata and vegetables and it was basically veg-all with a blob of cheese. No flavor at all. Disappointing, we had been waiting to go for a long time. Tables were distanced and felt safe. Bummer about the food

We were on the sidewalk with loud cars driving by and ambiance was not good. I've dined at this restaurant before and inside is much better. Wine was delicious and food was good. Hopefully soon we can return to normal and sit inside. Frustrating paying $600 for a meal and you have to sit on street.

First time dining here. Excellent food and great service. Enjoyed the ambiance, looking forward to another visit sometime soon!

Best restaurant in Manhattan Beach. Possibly the best steak I have had in LA. Better than Mastros! The service is incredible as is the swanky mad men vibe. Even better as part of this
beach culture. Love this place!

Family birthday

Great hype on steak passion poor delivery. Cost no object for me on great steaks but these were served on cold plates - great steakhouses preheat their plates! - and were only ok. Service was mediocre had to be reminded three times. Too much ego in staff

1st time to restaurant in a year! Fully vaccinated...so chose our favorite with cello f-v friends. Dined outside and loved every minute!!!

The Arthur J was excellent! I was craving steak tartar and my boyfriend and our friend had never had it, so we looked into different restaurants that offer the dish and made a reservation here. The steak tartar was great, but the bone marrow was phenomenal. This was their first time trying bone marrow as well and they loved it! I ordered the pork and they had steak, both were great. We also had wonderful drinks and the service was great. The only think I wish were different would be our seating arrangement. We had to sit at the tables on the sidewalk, I'd imagine because of COVID restrictions... which I totally understand, but there were beetles everywhere and it was pretty gross. Would love to come back on our next visit and hopefully sit inside.

The experience over all was great. Food was excellent.
