I have dined at the Arsonist on 3 previous occasions over the past 4yrs. The venue has always been noisy but this was made up for by good service, great food and reasonable value. Most recently the food was as expected though lessor portions than in the past and the service has taken a dive making it not so great value. The Arsonist has always been regarded by us as the special place to go for family occasions, we will be looking elsewhere in the future.

The food was spectacular. We had the brisket and the lamb back strap. Cooked to perfection. Our service was excellent with a knowlegable server at our table. The noise level was low and we were able to talk and hear each other at our table.

I usually get the set menu so cannot comment on the usual menu. The set menu has a large variety of different food items that I think will cover most palates. Service is usually pretty good and the food is fantastic. Even though it is generally busy, it is not noisy. I probably wouldn't bring small children though. Afterwards there is the option to walk off your meal along the Manly foreshore. Overall, a recommended experience.
