Booked in advance only to find on the day that the place has closed down! No warning from the restaurant or open table. Totally ruined what was a special occasion for us and our city break away!

The food is good however the portions are extremely small for what you’re paying. The service could be significantly improved, it felt like I was taken to my table in Nando’s rather than an upper class restaurant. The menu wasn’t explained, no other questions/ rapport from the waitress, just given the menus and took our order. When we asked for new cutler for the mains we were asked “what cutlery do you want?” When we clearly only had a knife left on the table. I think this restaurant has marketed itself to be far more than it actually is.

Good service, reasonable prices. Food well presented, and very tasty, although mine was a little on the salty side. Shame the heating still wasn't working, this took the edge off it a little but we all still had an enjoyable evening.

The venue is decorated but all of that becomes irrelevant when they don't have heating. Staff mentioned the heating doesn't work so it wasn't a one off. It just ruined the evening as all you can really focus on is how cold it was.. food was average, nothing special, service was OK.. they asked us straight away what we wanted to drink.. I hadn't even sat down properly.. starters weren't hot and was average. They don't give you wipes at the end which should be standard if you are trying to portray yourself as a posh venue. Overall I wouldn't really go back, neither would I recommend it. Its out of the way and not worth the journey and hassle.

Stunning food, lovely ambience, great service. We visited before a theatre show and didn't feel at all rushed - there was no pressure for us to leave our table which can be the case at other restaurants. We shared a platter (designed for 1 but enough for 2) as a starter. The Ark Special Curry and The Boatmans Fish Curry were both delicious which we ordered alongside one rice and a naan. We had a couple of cocktails and a bottle of wine. Altogether £107. Couldn't fault it and will definitely return! Highly recommend!

Service was very slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t even half full All our mains were overly salted and poor quality for Indian When I booked I requested something like balloons or something special on table for my daughters birthday but there was nothing added
