We always know that our meal at the Argonne House will be amazing! I always get the fried shrimp. I don't know where it comes from but its delicious! We've taken friends and family and it never disappoints. We make sure to get our reservation in a few weeks in advance during summer high season, but you'll still need a reservation to be assured of a table. That's a good thing! Always busy.

Where do I start?! The menu had so many dishes that I wanted to try but could only eat so much. I had to go with the shrimp which were delicious. The sides were all equally yummy! The best was the shrimp cocktail. So good!! I can't wait to go back!

Our second recent visit to the Argonne House did not disappoint. Food was very good and the decor and layout are very nice. Similar to many restaurants in the area, they appear to suffer a bit from staffing shortages, which slowed service a bit. We were not in any hurry, however, and enjoyed our evening out.

Food is always good. Inside, the restaurant was too loud for us, so we were able to be moved to an outside table. With the heaters, it was perfect. The last few years, the restaurant is always a great experience.

Excellent shrimp and steaks. This old standard in Charlevoix never disappoints. Wait staff is busy but comes by and are friendly. I like that they take reservations.

We had a great experience at the Argonne House. The general manager, Wendy, great job, keeping the restaurant flowing. The food is as good as good as ever….best shrimp dinner around! Our waitress was extremely busy, but we never felt like she wasn’t giving us the attention we needed. The restaurant was very busy yet. We did not experience a delay in the service/food we received.

There was a large party in the same room where we were seated & they were extremely noisy. We complained to our waitress & an older lady who was a hostess or manager came to the table & moved us to the bar area which was much quieter. We were finally able to talk to each other! The hostess/manager lady came back to check on us a couple times which was very nice & appreciated. The initial table was terrible - not only noisy but right by the door to the outside so waiters & waitresses were constantly passing by & opening & closing the door. But your response to our complaint was great. Food is excellent.

The Shrimp dish was not "World Famous" in my opinion and the cocktail drinks were a very "short" pour if at all of any liquor. The place was very nice and I hope it can improve and be successful in the future.

The food was fabulous and freshly made!!! The mixture of options atop the fish was very unique yet flavorful!! Nikki was a fabulous and an attentive server despite being very busy!! This small quaint restaurant matches any outstanding restaurant in a big city!! I would go again except I was merely visiting.

We have been patronizing this establishment for decades and always have a delicious meal. The prices have crept up over the years, but that is to be expected. They have made improvements to the restaurant to make it more current, for the better. Was delighted to celebrate my mother’s 88th birthday at this wonderful establishment.

Extensive menu. Moderate prices. I ordered the 6 shrimp dinner for $19. They gave me 8 shrimp, a large baked potato, and a nice amount of asparagus. Waitress was very accommodating. As the restaurant filled up, dessert was slow in coming, but the bread pudding and the hummer were generous and fabulous.

Lovely evening to sit outside on the patio. The Bridge margarita and strawberry mojito were very refreshing! Enjoyed the complimentary cole slaw and the homemade bread. Best were the entrees — shrimp platter and filet. Delicious! Our waitress Kiera was attentive (and we enjoyed watching the young busboys clear the liquids by watering 5he grass!)
