   We recently visited The Architect after a recommendation from my parents who visit regularly. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. When we arrived, our table had been positioned under a major leak in the roof, when we asked to move it out of the way we were informed we could not do this, so our guests had to just suffer being rained on. When we ordered food, despite it being a Saturday night and only one other table currently on site, we were told several items on the menu weren’t available(salmon, risotto, arancini), and there would be an hour wait on meals. The meals did arrive quicker than we were told, but 2 meals out of 10 were forgotten. When we asked for a refund for these meals, suddenly one had been made so they were not able to refund it. We asked for a takeaway container for the meal that had been miraculously made, and were brought possibly the dirtiest container to ever exist and told to put the meal in ourselves. The guest had to quickly eat her meal while the rest of us waited nearby, as the thought of putting food in this container was disgusting. I don’t understand how this venue can be so great on some days that my mother(who is a major foodie and very picky about good service) can recommend this to us, can then completely change to be possibly the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. When reflecting on the best and worst moments from the weekend, the entire group stated visiting The Architect was the worst moment of our 3 day hens weekend. If I could give 0/5 stars, I would.

   I have been here several times and when quieter, it was great to get to chat to Connor ( one of the owners) more. They have a great vision for the coast to meet our need for music in a slightly more mature environment, yet any age group can fit in / enjoy here Great wine/ food and love the music !

   We made a booking. When we arrived we waited 10 mins to be directed to our table and weren’t given a menu or advised that we needed to order at the bar so we left and came back later for the music which was awesome. Love the venue just not the service that night anyway!

   The Architect is a fantastic spot to see local live music in a relaxing setting. We had dinner and drinks there on a rainy Friday night and all up it was a brilliant night. The halloumi and hummus was really tasty and the meatballs were so flavoursome - we shared both and later sat at the bar to watch the band. Staff were chatty and polite and on the ball! Love this place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🍀

   Have visited several times in their first few months of opening and never disappointed. Staff are great, service spot on, food delicious, excellent selection of drinks, wide variety of live music. Most recent visit was for The Architect’s pre-St Patrick’s Day celebration on 16 March. Place was pumping! So good to see so many people enjoying themselves in this beautiful venue. Steak and stout pie was sooo good. Pints of Guinness expertly poured.

   The Architect is one of our favourite places To visit , the food is excellent, the hosts are friendly and the atmosphere is exceptional, great music and entertainment also .

    was an interesting evening at the architect bar and kitchen The young people waiting on the tables did the best they could The lamb shoulder was delicious but for the rest of the meals very disappointing and certainly a long wait. The lamb was served but another five had to wait 30 or 40 minutes for their dinner. I have come to the conclusion. It’s all about the music and the food is an afterthought.
