   The atmosphere was great, there was less people in than I thought, but it was a Monday, I picked a table near the window. The service was very good the gentleman who served us was polite and literally couldn’t have been more polite and attentive. The food was good my chicken burger was slightly disappointing it was abit dry the bread was breaking up but brioche buns do that if they are a day old, but the chicken was dry I’ve had better choices there. The drinks were excellent the wine was very good but I think always pricey the mark up is a scandal but we all seem to accept this. The coffee was very good the oat milk cappuccino was excellent. Overall the experience was very good and I always come away having enjoyed the food and the atmosphere it’s a very comfortable place with excellent service. The minor grumbles won’t stop me from going again.

   There was a wonderful ‘vibe’ on entering the venue, but I am hard of hearing, so found it difficult to talk with my table companion. The staff were attentive, helpful and personable. I was very disappointed with my meal. The food was good, but the portion size and range of options were very limited. The waiting person was good enough to let me know that I would need to order a side dish to go with my main, as it was so small. I would not return, simply because it was so very expensive for what I was given. If the portions were enlarged, I might give it another try. Another frustration was that I ordered a classic ‘gin and vermouth’ martini. Strangely enough, this wasn’t on the drinks menu, but a wide range of other ‘martinis’ were. The bartender mixed a poor imitation of a martini. It was all gin; there was no vermouth in it. On top of all that, it tasted as if it had been ‘watered down’. A poor show.

   Well situated not far from the car park and the Palace theatre. Nice & quiet at teatime. Fish was nice. Chips tasted reheated. Too much salt on everything.

   Very decent menu lots of choices for every palate, the food was hot and plenty of flavours and the service was quick.

   Good food and drinks. Slightly empty on the Bank Holiday Monday which was odd.

   Lovely food, The crispy duck salad was excellent . Not the quietest venue for dining with a lot of noise from the bar area. Overall very good and would consider revisiting.

    Food and service was excellent and the place was lovely and the toilets were clean and loved the little extras in there .
