   Food never came together. Which is no no. We waited a good 40mins and i had to wait for my veggie pie and salad. The crust was hard which i left (i asked them to bag up the chips that were left and pie crust for my fox i get in the garden). The frozen chips were awful. Why can't you make real chips snd give everyone just a few? We order 3 coffees and waited a looong time for 3 coffees and even got up to enquire and when they finally bought them out. They were all cold!! Lovely old pub and friendly staff but let me down this time

   As always great atmosphere - buzzing and cosy. Food was spot on - lots of it even for just a sandwich. Drinks great too. Beautiful typical country low ceiling pub. Dogs welcome with treats and food for them!! Nice beer garden front and back for when the sun is out. Staff exceptionally friendly - speedy service and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

   Nice toast beef dinner. Good price. Did a nice candle for a birthday on ice cream

   Food was nicely portioned and so fresh , staff where amazing , and garden was perfect , couldn’t of been any better 😊

   Such a lovely pub, with a variety of nice table locations. Food was delicious.
