We have eaten in the Angel quite a few times, food always of a good standard. Not too noisy even though alot of the tables were occupied

Great food and service as always. Never had a bad meal here. Although they were busy, the food was served hot and promptly.

Lovely old village pub with a charming beer garden at the back with a good mix of sunshine and shade. Very friendly staff and good traditional pub grub. Enjoyed the alfresco dining and sipping prosecco with some old work colleagues. Don’t know where the afternoon went!

Dinner on a very quiet Tuesday night. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Lovely wine. Food presented beautifully. Sweet chilli chicken and salad was delicious, lovely fresh salad. Sausage and mash, very nice but disappointing gravy which lacked flavour. Churros and chocolate, very tasty.

We love The Angel it's an absolutely 💎 gem. The food is excellent hot tasty food ! Service great ambience is chilled . We can fault it the location is so pretty 😍
