   Second time we were disappointed Sunday lunch was bland no taste, we gave it a second chance but will not be going again.

   Good service and attentive front of house staff both of whom were well trained Decor very nice Food was pricey and not especially memorable. Sliced packet white bread (eg kingsmill) with the mussels was not very good. Burger was very small. All portions were on the small side.

   We’re a repeat customer and the Angel Hotel never disappoints. The food was excellent, the service always excellent and we sat in the bay window of the main restaurant which was lovely. Although busy, it felt relaxed and we came away thinking it had been perfect for Mum on Mothers Day. Many thanks 👍

   Excellent as always. Food was very tasty and beautifully presented. We had the three course Sunday lunch for £24 and we’re both extremely full and satisfied by the end, we actually didn’t finish the dessert as we were so full. Staff were friendly and efficient.

   We had a Sunday lunch recently. However it took 20mins for our starter to arrive from when we ordered and other tables who ordered after us were served before us. When we enquired apparently order had got lost. This hotell still has the reputation of poor service. This is a shame as the staff themselves are friendly and polite, they just need more training. The food was good and it is for this reason we will return.

   We had to wait over an hour for our lunch to arrive, despite others receiving their food, deserts and bill before we'd had our food delivered. The food was good when it arrived.

    Food was excellent, menu quite varied ranging from £14 burger to £26 steak. Service needs some work!
